🏴☠️ On New Year's Eve, the AFU nightmared #Donbass. Artillery strikes were launched on #Donetsk, which was sleeping peacefully after the festivities. In particular, the city centre came under fire. The militants fired 25 MLRS rockets. Enemies also fired MLRS rockets at the vocational school in #Makeyevka, where military personnel were stationed, according to some reports, mobilised. There were many dead and wounded. The very fact of deploying personnel in an unsafe facility drew massive criticism from war correspondents and experts. The decision to deploy soldiers in such a place can be regarded as a crime.
⚔️ Situation on the Fronts in the past 24 Hours
♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
The Russian Army inflicted fire on militants in the areas of #Kotlyarovka, #Ivanovka, #Podoly, #Pershotravnevoye in #Kharkov Oblast and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. Artillery also hit five militant groups in the #Rozovka and #Stelmakhovka areas of the LPR. The AFU lost over 150 Nazis.
♦️#Ugledar Direction:
AFU units unsuccessfully counterattacked our positions near #Dorozhnyanka in #Zaporozhye region. The militants were hit by artillery, eliminating more than 50 Nazis. Also in the areas of #Novoandreyevka, #Dorozhnyanka in #Zaporozhye region, as well as #Nikolskoye, #Neskuchnoye and #Novomikhailovka DPR destroyed six enemy SRGs.
💥 The Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 near #Poltavka in the DPR. Also, a mobile airspace surveillance radar of the AFU was destroyed in the DPR. In addition, a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar was destroyed near #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut).

♦️In #Zaporozhye (region), the Russian army, supported by artillery, attacked AFU positions in #Stepnoye in order to reach an important section of the rocket road leading to #Orekhov. To the southeast of that town, it attempted to advance towards Malaya Tokmachka. There, too, is a section of the rockade. Thus, the RF Armed Forces are seeking to reach #Orekhov from two sides. Artillery was striking at #Gulyaypole and #Poltavka. (Fig. 1)
♦️On the #Donetsk front, Russian forces attacked in the direction of the local #Paraskovievka. In #Maryinka, they are squeezing the AFU on the western outskirts of the city, advancing near #Vodyanoye. Artillery is working on the Ukrainian stronghold in #Avdeyevka. (Fig. 2)
♦️South of #Bakhmut, the AFU has serious problems. The Wagner PMC is attacking from #Kurdyumovka in the direction of #Dyleyevka. And a little to the north there is already an assault at Belaya Gora. In other words, the "musicians" are targeting #Konstantinovka, through which the Ukrainian garrison in #Bakhmut is supplied. Moreover, this town, like Chasov Yar, is the command centres of the AFU in #Donbass and a place where forces and reserves are concentrated. #Konstantinovka is also the southern gateway to #Kramatorsk.
➖ After the Wagner PMC took #Kleshchiyevka, the way to #Bakhmut from the south is open. There are no more settlements here. On the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut itself, the "bandits" are also advancing. But this is more likely a diversion of enemy forces. It is obvious that they will try to encircle the city. Events to the north of #Bakhmut are indicative of this. The Wagner PMC is attacking Krasnaya Gora and #Blagodatnoye. And east of #Seversk, Russian troops are already trying to advance towards #Verkhnekamenskoye. (Fig. 3)
♦️In the #Lugansk direction, the RF Armed Forces again attacked in the vicinity of #Belogorovka. They also attempted to advance from #Zhitlovka towards #Terny.
➖ For their part, the AFU is conducting offensive operations on #Kuzemovka. This is a dangerous direction for Russian troops. There are no settlements behind this village and the terrain is quite open. It is quite a convenient route to #Svatovo from the north-west. (Fig. 4)

🔹In #Zaporozhye, a positioning area of the Grom-2 operational and tactical missile system has been deployed. Today (22 Apr 2023) there was an 👉 attempted strike on #Kerch from the vicinity of the administrative centre.
🔹In #Nikopol, the 3rd and 4th detachments of the AFU's 71st Jager Brigade, redeployed from the #Soledar direction, have arrived. Given the combat experience of the units of the 71st Brigade in #Bakhmut, they are likely to be involved in the forcing of the #Dnieper River and the assault on #Energodar.
🔹The #Gulyaypole Section is being prepared for an offensive. According to intercepts, about 10,000 militants are concentrated at the #Gulyaypole - #Temirovka line. Starlink terminals have been deployed near #Gulyaypole, #Malinovka and #Poltavka.
▪️ In addition, the forces of the AFU's 1st Tank Brigade of the AFU started to advance from #Prosyana. The self-propelled howitzer division of the 1st Brigade has been deployed near #Temirovka and the reactive division near #Novogrigorovka.
🔹In the #Orekhov Section, formations of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU and the 15th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard are conducting a forced evacuation of citizens from #Stepnogorsk. Along the way, sappers are mining all civilian infrastructure buildings in the settlement.
