⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🔎 Situation in the #Bakhmut Direction - Analysis of Changes on the Southern Flank⚡️
🔹Before we start analysing the situation, I would like to point out the haste of the AFU's "victory relay" about the alleged complete capture of #Kleshcheyevka. It is obvious that the enemy is pursuing the goal of disrupting the logistics for supplying the #Bakhmut grouping of the RF Armed Forces, in connection with which it is trying to cut off one of the arteries feeding the city. The route from #Semigoriye and #Kodema to #Kurdyumovka and #Kleshcheyevka.
❗️By attacking in the #Kleshcheyevka - #Andreyevka - #Kurdyumovka strip, Kiev not only intends to ruin the southern flank, but also to cut into our defence line, blocking the #Bakhmut - #Gorlovka route.
🔹Despite the fact that the situation in the #Kleshcheyevka area is extremely difficult, there is every reason to believe that control over the settlement will be regained. As Boris Rozhin accurately 👉 notes, as of 18.09.2023, the southern and central parts of #Kleshcheyevka are under enemy control. The part where our units pulled back from is still in the grey zone and under our fire control. The positions of the RF Armed Forces are currently located along the northeastern border of the settlement and behind the railway. This information is confirmed by our sources on the ground.
🔹At the moment, the enemy has not yet managed to gain a foothold in the central part of the village, due to the destruction of most of the buildings. Plus it is still being shelled by our artillery. In #Andreyevka the situation is similar. Most of the destroyed village is in the grey zone, and the positions of our forces are along the railway line. The AFU are actually occupying the adjacent plantations and the western outskirts of the settlement.
🔹Given the fact that #Kurdyumovka is under our control, advancing on #Andreyevka and the southern part of #Kleshcheyevka, the enemy fears to be hit in the flank by the reserves transferred from #Kodema. The AFU are clearly afraid of storming #Kurdyumovka in front of them, due to the echeloned mining of the line of contact in this area. Although the fighting here is not subsiding.
🔹One of the reasons for the temporary success of the enemy's attacks in #Kleshcheyevka are the systematic strikes on the #Kodema - #Zaytsevo route, which is actually used to supply the RF Armed Forces stationed there. The enemy's artillery, corrected by UAVs, poses a problem for our logistics, as we have repeatedly reported.
🔹Despite the fact that the AFU has been striking the #Soledar area with enviable regularity, the solution for us at the moment may be a sharp manoeuvre that would allow us to stretch the enemy's forces in the north and in the area of the #Berkhovskoye Reservoir. At the same time reducing their activity in the south. Although it is already obvious that the nearest problem for us could be the strikes of long range artillery on the supply channel of the northern flank in the #Popasnaya - #Soledar strip. The enemy will not storm our positions from the side of #Minkovka in the direction of #Zheleznodorozhnoye, fearing losses of personnel and equipment.
📌 Returning to #Kleshcheyevka, we note that due to the intensity of the fighting, this village has become one of the symbols of the summer-autumn counteroffensive of the AFU, which, like the dominant heights to the west of it, has repeatedly passed from the RF Armed Forces to the enemy and back again. So there is no need to jump to conclusions, it is time to work on mistakes and, looking at the enemy's tactics, to launch an effective counterattack.

🗓 The liberation of #Khromovo about a week ago can actually be considered as a transfer of initiative to the Russian army near #Bakhmut. Only now the RF Armed Forces are attacking at three sites at once, and the situation of the AFU is getting worse.
🔹 On the southern flank of #Bakhmut, combined Russian units successfully stormed the heights adjacent to #Kleshcheyevka. As a result, the RF Armed Forces seized the tactically important height 235.7 north of the village.
▪️ Control over this position allows to keep all approaches to #Kleshcheyevka, as well as the landings to the north in the direction of #Krasnoye (#Ivanovskoye), under constant surveillance. And there is nothing that the AFU's 5th Separate Assault Brigade can do about it due to the complete dominance of the RF Armed Forces.
▪️ Also, the soldiers of the Russian 150th Motorised Rifle Division's 102nd Regiment are developing with great success an offensive in the dacha cooperative southwest of #Bakhmut, which was lost back in June. With further advance it will seriously deteriorate the AFU positions in #Krasnoye.
🔹To the northwest, Russian paratroopers continue their assault from the direction of the #Berkhovskoye Reservoir. Now the battles are going on for an important stronghold equipped in the #Vilyanovsky nursery.
▪️ At the same time, units of the AFU's 92nd Battalion of the 107th Territorial Defence attempted to counterattack from the vicinity of #Bogdanovka, but the attack was easily repulsed. And the enemy assault group was destroyed by a retaliatory strike.
🔹To the north of #Soledar, the Russian fighters also intensified their offensive. Acting from the direction of #Belogorovka, they managed to significantly cut into the defence of the AFU along the railway line to the east of #Vesyoloye.
📌 This advance allows us to start covering the #Vesyoloye - #Razdolovka line, which complicates the position of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade on the site. With further offensive, this may force the enemy to retreat.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, our forces are holding back the AFU's impulses to expand the foothold at #Krynki. There is an opinion that the enemy will attempt to connect the three springboards - Antonovsky Bridge - Cossack Camps - Krynki - may be a diversionary maneuver. Whereas in the #Ochakov sector the AFU are amassing much larger forces. Every night, they conduct reconnaissance of the coastal strip in the area of the Kinburn Spit, #Pokrovskoye and on the islands.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU are working on fortifications. At these lines the enemy is preparing for defence. And the AFU reserves are sent to other directions. Our army, without wasting time, is intensifying attacks on the flanks of #Rabotino. Artillery duels continue.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our military continues to expand the zone of control north of #Priyutnoye.They are also attacking near #Staromayorskoye and #Urozhaynoye.
▪️ For #Maryinka, Ukrainian sources write that we have been conducting strong strikes against the remnants of the AFU garrison in the northwest of the town for more than a day. The AFU is slowly retreating. Ours are clearing the liberated blocks.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, fierce fights are ongoing in the #Avdeyevka area without any serious changes on the map. On the northern flank, our army is advancing along the northern outskirts of the Coke Plant. Our Aerospace Forces are hitting with high explosive bombs, artillery is also helping. On the southern flank, in the last few days the battles have been rather positional. AFU reserves continue to arrive on the #Avdeyevka front, mostly from the #Zaporozhye direction. Ukrainian analysts believe that Zaluzhny and Zelensky are both interested in holding #Avdeyevka at any cost. For the commander-in-chief, the loss of the city is supposedly tantamount to resignation. Zelensky turns #Avdeyevka into a new symbol of resistance.

🎯 During the night, the "Geraniums" were particularly active in hitting the port cities of #Kiliya, #Izmail, and #Reni in #Odessa region. Our drones were also working on targets in the Bolgrad district of the region, and earlier there was information that this area was being used to hide delivered weapons and equipment, as well as to house mercenaries. There were reports of the enemy fixing "Geraniums" near the airfield of #Starokonstantinov in #Khmelnitsky region.
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, the situation near #Krynki remains difficult. Despite the dense fire of our artillery and aviation, the enemy is attempting to expand the zone of control near the village, constraining the forces of our group. There is still a probability of an enemy landing in other parts of the #Kherson direction.
▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, several attacking groups of enemy infantry were destroyed near #Rabotino and #Verbovoye. There is mutual artillery shelling, and the AFU are using cluster munitions.
▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, fighting continues, the RF Armed Forces have the initiative near the Coke Plant. Yesterday, the Nazis carried out massive attacks on civilians in the #Donetsk People's Republic, including using HIMARS MLRSs. A woman was killed and 18 civilians were wounded, including a child born in 2021. The AFU launched a second strike on the Budenovsky market in #Donetsk, injuring 13 Emergency Situations Ministry personnel and killing two.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, there is still no change. Heavy fights are ongoing. The AFU are continuing their attempts to extend their control over the forest belt across the road from #Krynki. Fighting continues in #Krynki itself, the AFU grouping is shrinking but not running out. In the area of #Kinburn Spit there is an increase in AFU shelling.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, it is snowing. Therefore, the artillery is working without drone correction. The AFU attacks continue. North of #Verbovoye, our army is improving positions, as well as near #Novofyodorovka.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, with the support of artillery, our forces suddenly attacked from the direction of #Novodonetskoye towards Zolotaya Niva, but the enemy was able to hold their positions.

On the southern flank, ours have taken the quarry behind the village of #Vinogradniki. But near #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye there are fierce battles, with no success for either side.

On the northern flank, our units advanced from the side of the #Berkhovskoye Reservoir. A key stronghold was taken in the Valyanovsky Nursery. 🔹On #Kherson Direction, our army is trying to reduce the enemy's presence. They have pushed the AFU back from another piece of #Krynki.
📌 Frankly speaking, I don't quite understand what the AFU command hopes for by continuing to hold footholds on the left bank of the #Dnieper. There are no prospects for them. A further breakthrough is impossible. At the same time, their soldiers are dying there every day. And more often they die before they even reach the fighting zone, on the river. In conditions when the AFU has gone on the defensive along the entire front, the logic of suicidal attempts to hold on is incomprehensible.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU are again trying to attack locally north of #Verbovoye and near #Rabotino. To no avail. Either they lose men or men and positions. Our units are acting carefully, methodically retaking positions. There are successes from the direction of #Novoprokopovka and near #Verbovoye.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, reports about the intensification of our offensive near #Staromayorskoye. The same near #Novomikhaylovka, facilitated by our successes in #Maryinka.
▪️ In #Maryinka, we can now expect complete control of our military over the location. Another long battle is almost won by our army. The Russian tricolor has been raised over a number of positions. A small area with several buildings remains behind the AFU on the very outskirts near the reservoir. The AFU main forces are digging in in the neighbouring villages of #Georgiyevka and #Maksimilyanovka. Reserves for strengthening defences on these lines are extremely limited. Most go to the battles for #Avdeyevka.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, our troops have taken the the treatment facilities on the approaches to the #Avdeyevka Coke Plant with heavy fighting. On the northern flank, our military managed to advance in #Stepovoye. The AFU positions in #Ocheretino and #Novokalinovo are being massively shelled. Most likely this is a harbinger of increased ground attacks. In the south. at the industrial zone, and at the villages of #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye, no changes. Russian artillery is massively attacking AFU positions in #Pervomayskoye.
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our forces have advanced near the Chasov Yar motorway. Ours also continue to move east of #Bogdanovka and north of #Khromovo (#Artyomovskoye). On this section we took control of one of the important heights. And in #Kleshcheyevka the fighting for the key height is still ongoing, there are shooting battles. North of #Soledar, at #Razdolovka and #Vesyoloye our units withdrew southwards to the previously occupied positions.
🔹In #Svatovo Direction, our Army attacked southeast of #Kuzmino, without progress. Our forces are still trying to push the AFU out of #Sinkovka. Our army is also advancing in the direction of #Novoselovskoye and Liman 1st.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, it is reported from the field that our military have significantly strengthened their control over the piers and approaches to our coast. Our forces are striking boats carrying reserves and supplies to the AFU. Their numbers in #Krynki are inevitably decreasing. Localised daily battles at parity of forces also continue on the islands.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, heavy rain and wind interfere with the work of artillery and drones. So there is relative calm at the front. Only at the #Verbovoye - #Novofyodorovka line our military repelled attacks by small AFU groups.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are gradually moving the front in the area of #Novomikhaylovka.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU continue to hold a foothold in #Krynki. This issue was even voiced today on the hotline with the President. According to him, the Russian command has decided to withdraw from part of the village in order to protect personnel, as the AFU has concentrated artillery strikes on this narrow section. Moreover, on his personal instructions, the General Staff is in no hurry to push the enemy out of #Krynki: “it is to our advantage that they thoughtlessly send further personnel there.” Nevertheless, our army continues to target boats on the #Dnieper with reserves and supplies, controlling the number of enemy on our shore.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, despite bad weather, with difficulties for drone pilots on both sides, our army is carrying out powerful attacks on the #Orekhov section. Near #Verbovoye, our military managed to push the AFU out of a tactically important position. And they are moving on, as reported from the field. At #Rabotino the AFU tried to counterattack. Ours not only repulsed the attack, but also advanced themselves in the return battle. Near #Novofyodorovka are battles for the heights. We are trying to retake positions that we were forced to give up in the summer.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are fighting on the outskirts of #Novomikhaylovka. They are moving from the south and southeast. After the liberation of this settlement, we will have the opportunity to cut off the supply routes of the AFU grouping in #Ugledar. Today, #Pobeda is also making progress. Our units are trying to build on their success in #Maryinka. They are also fighting in the area of the #Maryinka Reservoir, with the prospect of an offensive near #Georgiyevka in the direction of #Kurakhovo.

🎯 "Geranium" UAVs have been hitting the enemy's rear areas for another night, with explosions heard in #Khmelnitsky, #Kharkov and #Poltava regions. Yesterday it was reported that a Patriot air defense system supplied from Germany was destroyed near #Zhitomir by a hypersonic "Kinzhal".
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, an air strike was carried out on the place of the enemy's landing, UAV operators also destroyed boats with AFU personnel. In the #Krynki area, an AFU helicopter was reported shot down by the 337th Airborne Regiment. Satellite images of the enemy indicate severe destruction in the locality as a result of the constant work of our aviation and artillery.
▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, as a result of a short battle, an enemy infantry attack was repelled near #Verbovoye. At #Rabotino our troops are seizing the initiative and trying to move forward, retaking positions.
▪️ In #Maryinka, the RF Armed Forces are consolidating their positions and expanding their zone of control south of the town, trying to create conditions for reaching the #Pobeda settlement. It is necessary to occupy the heights and strongholds of the enemy.
▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, our troops are attacking on the northern edge of the front near #Stepovoye, advancing through the forest plantations. Due to the fact that the RF Armed Forces are exerting constant pressure on the enemy's defence in this direction, the AFU has transferred reserves to the villages of #Berdychi and #Novokalinovo. They report the use of heavy flame-throwing systems against enemy positions.
▪️ North of #Soledar our troops are pressing the enemy near #Razdolovka. Battles are taking place near #Bogdanovka (northwest of #Artyomovsk), which are important for the further offensive on Chasov Yar. The settlement has an elongated layout, passes to #Kalinovo, which in the future will allow us to reach the outskirts of Chasov Yar. Fighting continues to the north of #Kleshcheyevka.
💥 During the night, the enemy fired three rockets at #Mariupol. In #Donetsk, 17 civilians were wounded during the day. Shelling of border areas in the #Belgorod region continues.

▪️ #Kherson direction without significant changes. The enemy in wiped out #Krynki even tried to intensify, hitting the rear areas with barrel artillery and MLRS HIMARS. It organised mass raids on the region and neighbouring #Crimea with its UAVs, but failed to achieve its goals. They are facing problems on the frontline in manpower and have urgently started to transfer personnel from Territorial Defence to the Marines. In the Western and Ukrainian press, the failed AFU operation is explained by Zelensky's personal PR, which is achieved at the expense of losses.
▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, the Russians began to squeeze the enemy near #Rabotino in local battles. At #Verbovoye there are counter battles. Units of the 7th Air Assault Division carry out daring raids by armoured vehicles on AFU positions. Here, as in the #Kherson region, our aviation carries out constant strikes with FABs and UMPCs on the enemy's rear.
▪️ #Maryinka has been taken, and the outskirts are being cleared. The movement of the Russian Army from the city to the south, to the #Pobeda settlement, has become important. The simultaneous activation of our troops in the direction of #Novomikhaylovka indicates a plan to reach #Ugledar from the northeast. The AFU prepare also for defence in #Kurakhovo, west of #Maryinka.
▪️ The Russian Army after heavy fights broke into the outskirts of #Avdeyevka, remnants of the enemy are being eliminated in the #Vinogradniki cottage village near the industrial zone. At the neck of the "Avdeevka sack" our control zone is gradually expanding, the enemy is redeploying troops from other parts of the front and moving them to the city. The fighting is fierce and bloody.
▪️ In the #Artyomovsk direction our troops advance towards Chasov Yar. The town should be taken from the north due to the terrain. Battles are taking place at #Bogdanovka, #Khromovo, #Kleshcheyevka. Offensives north of #Soledar were reported.
▪️ Near the #Torskoye ledge, in the #Serebryanskoye forestry and in the #Kupyank sector, local battles are taking place.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, shooting battles continue in #Krynki. Due to the activity of the AFU artillery, the situation remains difficult. However, our forces are more actively engaged in the liquidation of the foothold. Ukrainian resources report that ours have pulled up armoured vehicles.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our military continue to retake positions. The AFU are trying not to give in, using all available weapons. At night, our military is disturbed by large Baba Yaga drones. From them, the enemy drops mines on our positions. It is reported from the field that recently several militants of the AFU surrendered after ours threw them a walkie-talkie from a drone.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our army continues to attack south of #Novomikhaylovka and near #Pobeda. Having almost completed the clearing of #Maryinka's outskirts, our fighters are actively moving towards #Kurakhovo.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our units have expanded their zone of control north of #Opytnoye after severe fighting. Ours have also made advances towards #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. There is also progress at #Vodyanoye. To the west of the village, our army is advancing north of the Novoavdeyevskoye Pond, creating additional tension for the AFU garrison in #Pervomayskoye. There is also a movement of ours westwards from the quarry near the Vinogradniki Gardening Community. 🔹In #Kherson Direction, shooting battles continue in #Krynki. Due to the activity of the AFU artillery, the situation remains difficult. However, our forces are more actively engaged in the liquidation of the foothold. Ukrainian resources report that ours have pulled up armoured vehicles.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our military continue to retake positions. The AFU are trying not to give in, using all available weapons. At night, our military is disturbed by large Baba Yaga drones. From them, the enemy drops mines on our positions. It is reported from the field that recently several militants of the AFU surrendered after ours threw them a walkie-talkie from a drone.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our army continues to attack south of #Novomikhaylovka and near #Pobeda. Having almost completed the clearing of #Maryinka's outskirts, our fighters are actively moving towards #Kurakhovo.
🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the southern #Avdeyevka flank, our units have expanded their zone of control north of #Opytnoye after severe fighting. Ours have also made advances towards #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. There is also progress at #Vodyanoye. To the west of the village, our army is advancing north of the Novoavdeyevskoye Pond, creating additional tension for the AFU garrison in #Pervomayskoye. There is also a movement of ours westwards from the quarry near the Vinogradniki Gardening Community.
