▪️ Russian artillery hit targets near #Zarutskoye in #Sumy region.

▪️ In #Kharkov region, the RF Armed Forces struck enemy targets in Krasnaya Zarya, Kozachya Lopan, #Varvarovka, #Volchansk, #Chernyakove and #Ambarnoye.

▪️ In the #Starobelsk direction, Russian missile forces and artillery hit AFU positions in #Kupyansk, #Novovlinsk, #Bereistovoye, #Novoselovskoye, #Stelmakhovka and #Makeyevka.

The enemy militants, in turn, shelled #Kislovka, #Kotlyarovka, #Dibrova, #Chervonopovka and #Ploshchanka.

The AFU militants shelled #Andreyevka, #Kurdyumovka, #Mayorsk and #Yakovlevka.

▪️ In the #Donetsk direction, Russian troops fired on accumulations of enemy manpower in #Maryinka, #Krasnogorovka, #Vodyanoye, #Pervomayskoye and #Nevelskoye.

Ukrainian terrorists once again shelled #Donetsk and #Gorlovka. The Shesh-Besh cafe in the DPR capital, where former Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin was celebrating his birthday and was lightly wounded, came under fire. Two other people were killed.

▪️ On the #Southdonetsk direction, the RF Armed Forces hit targets in #Novomikhailovka, #Ugledar, #Prechistevka and Bolshaya (Velikaya) Novosyolka.

♦️The Russian army has intensified in the #Lugansk direction. It attempted to advance towards #Berestovoye in the northern sector with artillery support. It also carried out an assault in the area of #Novoselovskoye. Slightly to the south, supported by artillery, it attacked in the direction of #Stelmakhovka. Further south - near #Ploshchanka and #Chervonopovka. And to the southeast it attempted to dislodge the AFU from the bridgehead in #Belogorovka for the offensive against #Lysychansk. (Fig. 1)

♦️East of #Soledar, the Wagner PMC attacked from the direction of #Yakovlevka. Fierce fighting is taking place on the southeastern outskirts of the city. Artillery is firing at #Soledar and #Bakhmutskoye. The Wagnerians are not going to withdraw from the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut. Fierce battles are taking place there. The AFU has received reinforcements. To the south of the city there is also counter-fighting near #Opytnoye. The Ukrainian army seeks to seize the initiative here as well. In the south, the Wagner PMCs are attacking from #Kurdyumovka and #Ozaryanovka. The aim is to take control of a section of the rocky road that also runs through the large logistics centres of the AFU in Chasov Yar and #Toretsk. Russian troops from the #Mayorsk side tried to advance towards #Druzhba. (Fig.2)

♦️On the northern section of the #Donetsk front, RF Armed Forces attacked AFU positions near Nyu-York (#Novgorodskoye). Artillery was firing at Nyu-York. In the south, Russian forces attacked in the direction of #Alexandropol. They also attempted to advance and cut a section of the H-20 highway near #Kamenka. In the southwest, the RF Armed Forces attacked from the direction of #Opytnoye and in the direction of #Vodyanoye. Further to the southwest, they conducted an assault on #Nevelskoye. Another ground attack on an AFU stronghold in #Krasnogorovka. Artillery was firing on the city itself. Fierce fighting in the city limits of #Maryinka. The Ukrainian garrison continues stubborn resistance. Russian troops once again attempted to break the AFU defence in #Novomikhailovka. The Ukrainian army continues shelling #Donetsk. (Fig. 3)

♦️In the #Kherson direction, the Russian army shelled AFU positions in the regional centre. Also under attack were #Veletinskoye,# Zelenovka, #Inzhenernoye, #Antonovka, #Sadovoye and #Tyaginka. (Fig. 1)

♦️On the #Donetsk front, the same "hot spots" remain. Russian troops continue their assault on the AFU stronghold in #Maryinka. There are no signs of significant progress. The Ukrainian garrison is resisting desperately.

Another attempt by the RF Armed Forces to attack another AFU stronghold in #Krasnogorovka. Artillery was working on the town.

The Russian army also attacked in the direction of #Vodyanoye. Artillery strikes were launched against a third AFU stronghold in #Avdeyevka. Ukrainian forces retaliated against #Donetsk, #Makeyevka and #Yasynuvata. (Fig. 2)

♦️South of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs attempted to advance towards #Druzhba. In the north they attacked from #Kurdyumovka. Counterattacks continue on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut. Artillery is firing on the town itself.

In the south of #Soledar, the Wagner PMC is attacking near #Podgorodnoye and #Bakhmutskoye. And from the north it is trying to reach the city from #Yakovlevka. Fierce fighting on the eastern outskirts of #Soledar itself. (Fig. 3).

♦️On the #Lugansk direction, the AFU are trying to expand their zone of control in the wooded area near #Kremennaya. They are attacking near #Dibrova from the west and #Kuzmino from the south.

In the north, the Russian army takes the initiative. Offensives near #Chervonopovka and at #Nevskoye. Also an attack from the direction of #Ploshchanka. Further north, Russian forces attempt to advance towards #Stelmakhovka and near #Novosyolovskoye. (Fig. 4)

♦️In the #Zaporozhye direction, Russian troops reduced the intensity of artillery fire. Flights hit #Plavni, #Novoandreyevka, #Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka. The AFU launched a missile attack on #Tokmak. There is a military airfield. #Tokmak itself is an important logistics centre for the RF Armed Forces (Figure 1).

♦️There is nothing new on the #Donetsk front. In the southern sector, the Russian army is again attempting to attack in the direction of #Novomikhailovka. Fierce fighting continues in the city of #Maryinka. Russian troops again attack in the direction of #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye, #Vodyanyoye and from the direction of #Opytnoye. Strangely enough, it is quiet in #Avdeyevka. Slightly to the north, the RF Armed Forces are attempting to move towards #Kamenka. Further north they attacked in the direction of #Aleksandropol. Apart from #Maryinka, there are no successes to speak of. (Fig. 2)

♦️South of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs decided to move on #Dyleyevka. Slightly to the north, they attack in the area of #Kleshchiyevka. On the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut itself, the Wagner PMC is no longer doing well. But it attacks near #Podgorodnoye. Apparently, they decided to replace the unsuccessful frontal assaults with a flanking encirclement of the city. It's the same southeast of #Soledar. An attempt to push through the AFU garrison in #Bakhmutskoye from the north. The Ukrainian army in this area unexpectedly counterattacked in the direction of #Stryapovka. (Fig. 3)

♦️In the #Lugansk direction, Russian troops are again attempting to reach #Belogorovka. The AFU is conducting assault operations near #Chervonopovka. There is a struggle for a section of the R-66 road to #Kremennaya. (Fig. 4)

Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction until 13:00 on 30 Dec 2022⚡️

♦️#Kupyansk - #Svatovo Section:

Russian servicemen conducted a reconnaissance battle on an AFU position near #Berestovoye. As a result of the battle, units of the 64th Battalion of the AFU's 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade suffered losses and voluntarily abandoned their positions.

The 103rd Brigade's command organized rotation of personnel at the frontlines in #Peschanoye, #Stelmakhovka and west of #Kislovka.

In the #Tavolzhanka sector, combined formations of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, 40th Separate Rifle Brigade and 114th Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU are conducting a positional defence, expecting an attack by the RF Armed Forces on #Dvurechnoye from the direction of #Tavolzhanka.

At the same time, there are more and more cases of combat operations in a state of intoxication. Foreign mercenaries arrived in #Sinkovka to maintain discipline.

♦️#Liman Sector:

The enemy is preparing for an offensive on #Kremennaya. Ukrainian formations are spreading information about the redeployment of some AFU units from the #Soledar 👉 direction (https://t.me/sitreports/2718) to the #Dibrovskoye and #Chervonopovka sections.

Enemy forces use gaps in the defenses move sabotage and reconnaissance groups unhindered to #Dibrova and #Kremennaya. The strongholds change "from hand to hand in the grey zone". There is no assured control by anyone.

🩸The AFU is planning an offensive against Russian positions. The general attention to #Bakhmut is an excellent opportunity for a covert move of forces to strike at #Starobelsk or #Zaporozhye.

Success in any area will reduce the AFU's reputation losses from the gradual advance of Russian troops and boost army morale.

The situation is complicated by frequent rotations of the RF Armed Forces units near #Kremennaya, of which the AFU is well aware, both radio-electronic (https://t.me/rybar/41471) and 👉 satellite reconnaissance (https://t.me/sitreports/2715) are operational. In the event of an attack by large AFU forces, there is a breakthrough threat of the Russian grouping's defences.
