🔥 Nordic Office of Architecture: The project is located next to the Elephant #Lake Wetland Park, which is representative of the #natural landscape of Nanchang. The Elephant Lake Wetland #Park provides a quality natural site base for the project and the #overall #design was inspired by these natural qualities. 🎮The #design concept of the architecture is not only to see the wetland as a “view” of the surrounding area, but also to bring its natural qualities into the project, creating a #spatial experience where the building and the landscape blending together. The design consists of 🖖#three #natural #elements, water, earth and sky, corresponding to three functional areas: the front square, the commercial facilities and the observation tower….🤌

Beijing Performing Arts Centre

😊The Beijing Performing Arts Centre, designed by #shlarchitects and #perkinswill, is a monumental complex in Tongzhou, a historic area along Beijing’s Grand Canal. The architecture is #inspired by the area’s past as a trade and storage hub, with the buildings’ forms referencing #traditional #canal boats and #warehouse #rooflines.🚀

💤The #center consists of #three world-class venues—an opera house, a theater, and a concert hall—each designed for optimal performance, acoustics, and functionality. Its elevated plinth integrates the surrounding park with the canal, blending architecture and landscape.🎮 #Sustainability is a key focus, with the #building envelope conserving energy and a porous landscape designed to manage #stormwater, earning the project a China Three Star ⭐️ rating for environmental performance.🤌
