UN Headquarters

This new #four #tower development is set to rise beside the UN Headquarters in #Neuferts New York. Designed by #Bjarke #Ingels Group (BIG), #Freedom #Plaza and the Museum of Democracy will be constructed on a 2.7 hectare site beside the East River.

The project’s two 51-storey hotel #skyscrapers will be linked by a dramatic #twisting skybridge at their summit. They’ll sit alongside two residential towers arranged around a new 3-block-sized public park and the #spiralling #Museum of Democracy.

The #residential #skyscrapers will contain 1,325 apartments of which around 40% are expected to reserved for #affordable #housing.
