The Mobility Pavilion by #fosterandpartners at the Dubai Expo is planned to occupy a dedicated plaza at the south entrance to the site and will have a lively, dynamic landscape conceived as a fairground with undulating tracks and demonstration areas for the latest technological innovations related to mobility.

An expression of the dynamic nature of mobility, the façade features a series of horizontal stainless-steel fins that wrap around the building. These fins lift up to form a canopy for each of the three entrances, while the roof hosts an array of both photovoltaic and solar hot water panels. The building is designed to achieve a #LEED Gold rating and will be repurposed as a high-quality office building as part of the wider legacy plan.

Zaha Hadid Architects has won an international design #competition with its proposals for this 210-metre new #skyscraper in Xi'an, China. The Daxia Tower is targeting a #LEED Gold certification and will feature sculpted glass facades to help bring natural light deep into the building's footprint.

This #futuristic new district 🔥 is set to be constructed in Hangzhou. #fosterandpartners #won an international design competition with its plans for a "green and interconnected mixed-use quarter" in the city's Yuhang region. The project will evolve around a #2.5-kilometre new central axis that crosses different bodies of water to #create #five distinctive zones within the overall development.

New commercial, retail and residential spaces will sit alongside cultural anchors #including a public library, exhibition hall and galleries.

The low carbon masterplan also includes a multi-level infrastructure network and a range of "last mile" transport options, such as #autonomous pods, shuttles, and water transports.

The project is targeting #LEED and WELL Community #Gold certifications in addition to China's 3-star green rating.
