😞 Shameful Reality in 2025
Even after 78 years of Independence and a Constitution that guarantees equality, we still witness the ugly face of untouchability.
In Karur, Tamil Nadu, a 200-feet long ‘untouchability wall’ was erected to block access for the Scheduled Caste community. It took police intervention and the efforts of the oppressed community to bring it down.
📜 Article 17 of the Constitution abolishes untouchability — yet incidents like this remind us that laws alone are not enough; mindset change is the real battle.
