Do you know who, and when took the very first photo of the Earth from space

🚀The answer is V2 rocket; on October 24, 1946, with a camera installed on its board, it was launched from the White Sands missile range in the United States. As the rocket reached its maximum altitude of 105 km, the camera was taking shots every 1,5 seconds. The rocket then fell in the desert of New Mexico; the camera broke but the film encased in a steel container remained intact. The shot was blurred and grainy, but nevertheless, it became the very first photo of Earth from space.

🙂The first photo of Earth taken by a human, not a device, was captured by Soviet cosmonaut German Titov. During his flight on August 6, 1961, he took the very first color photo of Earth and made a film demonstrating what our planet looked like from space.
