[Week 5] Navigating Family Conflicts with Ven. You Guang
Picture a group of hedgehogs who want to huddle together for warmth in the winter, but cannot avoid sticking each other with their sharp spines.
It can feel like that at times when we look at our families: we love them in all their many little ways, but inevitably, there are also times that they become a great source of frustration and we struggle to see past conflicts to connect with them.
Join us this Thursday as we learn from the pastoral counselling experiences of Venerable You Guang, the Abbot of Samantabhadra Vihara and Secretary-General of the Singapore Buddhist Federation. How can Buddhism help us navigate these familial conflicts with more compassion, equanimity, and kindness?

[Week 3] Reflections on the Mangala Sutta
Join us for an enlightening discussion on one of Buddhism's most cherished texts - the Mangala Sutta!
The Mangala Sutta is a discourse by the Buddha that enumerates thirty-eight of life's highest blessings. It provides a comprehensive guide to living an ethical and fulfilling life, exemplifying that many of lifeβs blessing are in fact the fruit of oneβs actions.
While this sutta is studied deeply by those committed to the spiritual path, it still offers timeless wisdom relevant to our lay life. See you there!
