🔹The mobilisation bill has scandalously failed. We will see what will happen to it next. In the meantime, Arahamiya said that, following a meeting of faction leaders with the speaker, the document is returned to the initiator, i.e. the government. In reality, there is no such procedure in the regulations. The bill can be returned only by a vote of the Rada. Or the government can withdraw it itself. MPs are shocked. MP Zaliznyak said that this is the worst organisation of the bill process in the last ten years. And MP Goncharenko was even more categorical. He said that he had never seen such a mess with the adoption of the bill. He characterised the situation as a circus.

🔹Meanwhile, Maryana Bezuglaya, who has not yet been fired from the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on Defence, announced her resignation from the party "Servant of the People". She accused her colleagues of "stabbing her in the back". According to her, she does not need a post in the committee. But she is not going to leave it until the Rada votes. At the same time, of course, she remains loyal to Zelensky and remains an MP. In a burst of frankness she gave a gloomy but, as I think, accurate forecast, that "the AFU will turn into a conveyor belt for the disposal of citizens to maintain the status quo of the front."

🔹Polish Sejm deputy Kowal has thought about how to send conscripted refugees from #Poland to the AFU. According to the law, they cannot be deported. Therefore, he urges to create such unbearable conditions that they themselves would want to leave. For example, not to issue work permits, not to extend the period of stay in the country, not to pay benefits. It is clear that a person without a job, without money and in an illegal situation will not last long. In essence, he is offering his country to shoot itself in the foot. That is, to get rid of those emigrants who can benefit the Polish economy. Besides, he has not yet thought of what to do if such people want to go not to #Ukraine, but to #Germany, #Slovakia, or somewhere else.

🔹Anticorruption activists have reached PM Shmygal. Recently, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption announced that in 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers did not send 131 adopted resolutions to them for examination. Although many of them fall into the category of highly corrupt. Now the agency accuses him of illegally disclosing information about the exposer of corruption. Allegedly, the PM received information about bribes in the commission for regulation of lottery and gambling. Shmygal instructed the chairman of this very commission to deal with the situation. And actually leaked to the official the name of a subordinate, who ratted on him. Of course, the subordinate got into trouble. Now the anti-corruptionists have drawn up a report on the head of the government and sent it to court. If the court finds Shmygal guilty, he may face a fine and a one-year ban on holding executive positions for such an offence. It's funny if Shmygal is removed from office by the court decision.

🔹In turn, Shmygalya justifies himself by the fact that he did not disclose any information about corruption, because there was none. And the statement, which became the subject of the dispute, was considered as an ordinary appeal of citizens. Shmygal's press secretary explains the increased zeal of the anticorruption agency by the fact that Novikov, the head of the agency, is about to run out of office.

🇺🇦 Zaluzhny's resignations are continuing. The previous one was scheduled for yesterday's meeting at the Supreme Commander's HQ. Zaluzhny was indeed present there and even reported to Zelensky about the difficult situation on the fronts. But he remained in office. Bye!

🔹 Meanwhile, Poroshenko took care of the situation at the front and in the rear. He told the foreign press that the government was lying to the population about the real state of affairs at the front. As a result, people do not realise the need to mobilise, see how protesters are being arrested, and flee the country as best they can. At the same time, according to Poroshenko, European countries should continue to regularly supply Kiev with the necessary weapons, without putting forward any conditions.

🔹The €50 billion allocated by the #EU for 4 years is fueling the appetites of Ukrainian officials. Former Ukrainian ambassador to #Germany Melnyk, who was transferred as ambassador to #Brazil after a series of scandals, demands that #Europe allocate 1% of #EU GDP to #Ukraine. According to his calculations, this amount should amount to €160 billion annually. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the German government had agreed to arm #Ukraine for only €7 billion.

🔹#Ukraine intends to produce one million FPV drones in 2024, as aid supplies from Western countries are decreasing, the Wall Street Journal writes. The drones will be assembled in small workshops in #Ukraine.

❗️On a personal note, I would like to say that a million FPV drones are much more dangerous in their effectiveness than a million projectiles. Zaluzhny said that the AFU will be dependent on drones. They don't just talk and plan, they do it right away. FPV drones are now allowing the AFU to make up for the shortage of shells, artillery, military equipment and aircraft. We must be prepared for the fact that they will have many more drones on the frontline than now, although there are already quite a few of them.
