🗓 In the last two months, the main battles unfolded south of #Orekhov, where the AFU after the unsuccessful assault on #Rabotino concentrated on #Verbovoye.
🔹 All yesterday, combined assault groups of 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade and 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade attacked the village with the support of artillery. At one point they even managed to get close to the western outskirts, where they were covered by the artillery of the RF Armed Forces.
▪️ The Ukrainian paratroopers retreated, and the unit involved in the fighting refused to go into another "meat" assault and left the position.
🔹 On the morning of 1 September, the attack was resumed by several units, but this time the AFU could not come close to #Verbovoye. The advance has stalled again.
❗️What’s more interesting in this case is how active enemy aviation is at the site. Over the past day, ten Su-25/27 and MiG-29 aircraft from the air bases of #Mirgorod, #Kanatovo and #Dolgintsevo were noted, which hit not only the frontline, but also the depth of the front at #Molochansk and #Tokmak with HARM missiles and MALD decoys.
📌 Civilians are being forcibly evacuated from the settlements of #Stepnogorsk, #Yegorovka, #Preobrazhenka, #Novopavlovka and #Gulyaypolye. And if this is not surprising in the suburbs of #Orekhov, then #Gulyayole is pulled out of the action, pointing to a possible activation of the AFU in the area.
