♦️#Zaporozhye Sector:

▪️ Russian units have pushed the 3rd Battalion forces of the AFU's 65th Mechanized Brigade out of #Kamenskoye village. However, the RF Armed Forces fighters have not yet entered the settlement, as Ukrainian artillery is shelling the place intensively. At the moment, the settlement is in the "grey zone".

♦️#Orekhov Section:

▪️ The AFU regrouped and managed to hold the Malye Shcherbaki - #Shcherbaki - #Novoandreyevka - #Novodanilovka line. Active counterbattery fighting continues along the frontline.

▪️ The offensive on a broad front is hampered by the AFU's remote mining with M73 cluster munitions. The RF Armed Forces are conducting local operations into the Ukrainian lines and directing their artillery at the fire positions of the AFU.

▪️ At the same time, the Ukrainian command expects a renewed assault in the #Orekhov and #Pologi sectors. 18 men were moved to reinforce the 103rd Battalion of the 108th Territorial Defence Brigade in the forward positions on the #Belogorje - #Charivnoje line.

▪️ In the vicinity of #Tavriyskoye the 44th Brigade artillery crews have been deployed, a BM-21 Grad MLRS launcher was transferred to #Orekhov, and additional crews of the 155 mm M777 howitzers have arrived in the forward positions of the 65th Mechanized Brigade.

♦️#Pologi Sector:

▪️ Units of the AFU's 102nd Territorial Defence Brigade are setting up fire positions and strongholds in #Chervonoye and #Malinovka.

♦️#Vremyevka Sector:

▪️ RF Armed Forces conducted a reconnaissance attack on the position of the 231st Battalion of the AFU's 128th Territorial Defence Brigade in #Vremyevka.

▪️ To reinforce the defence, the 43rd Artillery Brigade of the AFU has been moved to Bolshaya (Velikaya) Novosyolka, and observation posts have been set up at the Bolshaya Novosyolka - #Novosyolka line.

🔹 There are no significant changes. The Ukrainian HQ notes the activity of Russian troops. The AFU expects a renewed offensive in the #Zaporozhye region.

▪️ As part of preparations, additional firing positions and strongholds have been equipped at the #Belogorye - #Charivnoye line, as well as in #Komsomolskoye and #Lyubitskoye. The personnel of the 253rd Battalion of the 129th Brigade has been set on full combat readiness.

▪️ Reinforcements formed by detachments of mobilised men have arrived in #Uspenovka and #Lugovskoye. Several SPG-9 anti-tank grenade launcher crews prepared in #Omelnik have arrived at the front line.

▪️ The positioning area of the brigade artillery group of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces' Mountain Assault Brigade, which has received Western-made artillery systems, is located in #Tavriyskoye.

📌 The Ukrainian command is gradually building up its grouping in #Zaporozhye. Kiev is planning (again) a counteroffensive in late spring and early summer. Intensive training of mobilised troops is being carried out at training grounds near the administrative centre.

The operation to reach #Crimea and the Azov Sea will be preceded by massive artillery and fire preparation, including HIMARS MLRS deployed along the front.

Rocket attacks will be carried out against all major cities in #Kherson and #Zaporozhye regions, as well as #Armyansk and# Dzhankoy. The main objective of the Ukrainian command is to reach #Genichesk and the Crimean peninsula to cut off land communications.

🔹In the #Orekhov Section, units of the Center for Information and Psychological Operations of the Ukrainian Forces of Special Operation are spreading false information about the alleged offensive of the AFU on #Lobkovoye and #Rabotino.

To date, there have been no attacks by the AFU. However, there is talk amongst members of Ukrainian formations of an attack being prepared for 20 April on #Tokmak and #Pologi at the same time as #NATO exercises near the Russian borders.

▪️ Units of the AFU's 71st Army Jager Brigade have arrived in the area and are taking positions on the second line of defence north of #Gulyaypole. In addition, the presence of paratroopers from the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces' 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade, which were redeployed from the #Soledar direction after being re-staffed, has also been noted.

▪️ The grouping of troops "Zaporozhye" command conducts regular communication checks between units of the AFU's 65th Mechanized Brigade, 71st Jager Brigade, 1st Separate Tank Brigade, 102nd, 108th, 110th Territorial Defence Brigades, as well as the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade and the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces' 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.

▪️ Additional units and military equipment continue to be transferred to the frontline. Fire positions of M777 howitzers and M109 self-propelled artillery guns have been equipped near #Kamyshevakha, #Tavriyskoye and #Orekhov.

▪️ At Zolotaya Balka and #Maryanskoye near the #Kakhovka reservoir, training of assault units in forcing water obstacles is being completed.

📌 The high Activity of Ukrainian Information Centers and the concentration of significant reserves in the #Zaporozhye region indicates an imminent intensification of hostilities, probably in the period from 20 to 25 April.

It is highly probable that the AFU will make several local attempts to break through the RF Armed Forces' defences at the #Pologi and #Orekhov sections to assess the Russian Army's defences before conducting a 👉 full-scale assault in early May.

▪️ According to some reports, the movement of the 116th and 118th Mechanized Brigades of the 10th Army Corps together with their equipment has begun to the area of #Tavriyskoye, #Odarovka and #Slavnoye. These two formations have been assigned the main task of breaking through to #Melitopol.

▪️ At the moment, at the turn of #Slavnoye - #Odarovka, the equipment of the positional areas of the howitzer-self-propelled and reactive divisions of the 118th Mechanized Brigade are being equipped. At the same time, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Battalions are preparing for an assault in the #Rabotino - #Ocheretovatoye direction with subsequent access to #Melitopol.

▪️ In the vicinity of #Stepnogorsk, after the forced evacuation of civilians, a HIMARS positioning area has been equipped. Militants of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade spread information that preparations for the offensive are in the final stages.

▪️ In addition, assault detachments of the 71st Jager Brigade of the AFU have taken up positions along the #Kakhovka reservoir. According to residents of #Kherson region, fishing suits have been handed over to the positions near the coast.

🔸The Situation in #Kherson Region along the #Dnieper River has escalated. In recent weeks, the AFU has been trying to 👉 entrench itself on the left bank, sending reconnaissance teams and probing the RF Armed Forces' defenses in this area.

▪️ For several days the main events have been taking place on Bolshoy Potemkin Island to the south, near #Kindiyka to the east and near #Veletenskoye to the west of the administrative centre. The areas have been partly in a "greyzone" for some time now.

🔹In the Golaya Pristan Sector, an RF Armed Forces man-portable air defence system crew 👉 shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft over #Veletenskoye, while Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft struck the Ukrainian Special Forces of Operation landing area south of #Kizomys with FABs.

▪️ Meanwhile, yesterday the AFU forcibly evacuated civilians from #Veletenskoye and Kizomys as part of preparations for the landing of special forces assault groups on the left bank of the #Dnieper. Bayraktar UAVs are operating almost continuously over #Kherson and #Nikolayev regions.

🔹Around #Kherson, Russian artillerymen supported by aircraft conducted several massive attacks on Ukrainian positions on Bolshoy Potemkin Island, in #Antonovka, #Vysuntsy and the coastal area of Dacha and #Kindiyka.

▪️ From the #Tyaginka - #Berislav - #Zmiyevka line, crews of the 124th and 126th Brigades of the AFU Territorial Defence Forces continue to fire mortar and artillery at the positions of the RF Armed Forces. Targeting is provided by reconnaissance copters.

🔹In the #KrivoyRog Sector near #Dudchany, Zolotaya Balka and #Maryanskoye, the 121st Separate Brigade of the AFU Territorial Defence is training assault teams to ford water obstacles.

▪️ Also the forces of the AFU's 71st Separate Jager Brigade conducted training on storming strongholds in the urban area together with the Territorial Defence in the #Pokrov - #Nikopol - #Marganets section.

📌 At the Moment, significant Ukrainian forces with a total strength of over 15,000 men (at least 20 Territorial Defence battalions with attached artillery units, a National Guard brigade and the 71st Separate Jager Brigade of the AFU are concentrated in the #Kherson direction.

At the same time, the redeployment of new formations to the #Zaporozhye region continues. Today, a mechanized battalion of the AFU10th AC's 118th Mechanized Brigade arrived north of #Orekhov to #Tavriyskoye. By 30 April, the 116th, 118th Mechanized Brigades and 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade from #Pavlograd are due to arrive at the #Orekhov and #Gulyaypole sites.

The current manoeuvres of Ukrainian SRGs in #Kherson region look like attempts to divert the attention of the Russian command from preparing a strike in the #Zaporozhye direction. And, most likely, if an attack on #Tokmak and #Melitopol is launched, one should expect synchronous actions of the AFU from the right bank of the #Dnieper to restrain the RF Armed Forces.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Region, the AFU continues to prepare for an offensive. Personnel and equipment are being redeployed to the frontline settlements. Four units of the AFU's 71st Jager Brigade took up positions along the #Kakhovka reservoir.

🔹In the #Orekhov Section, paratroopers of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces have arrived at the #Kamenskoye - #Shcherbaki line. To the north, in #Grigorovka, a reception point has been equipped to receive mobilized personnel to replenish the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade's strength.

▪️ North of #Orekhov and in the vicinity of #Tavriyskoye, firing positions of rocket and self-propelled divisions of the 118th Mechanized Brigade of the 10th AC are equipped.

▪️ And in #Slavnoye and #Kamyshevakha arrived the gunnery artillery calculations of the 116 Mechanized Brigade of the 10th AC, which constitute the general strategic reserve of the Ukrainian grouping in the #Zaporozhye region.

🔹In the #Gulyaypole Section, the artillery units of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade have been redeployed near #Kolomiytsev. Also several MLRS launchers are operating north of #Gulyaypole. And the 1st Assault Company of the AFU's 108th Territorial Defence Brigade has arrived in Verkhnyaya Tersa.

📌 In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU is actually ready for an offensive. Due to improved weather conditions, such attempts by Ukrainian formations should be expected in the coming weeks.

At the same time, a large train of heavy armoured vehicles arrived in #Kremenchuk tonight, some of which will be moved to #Zaporozhye, while the others will be sent eastwards.

🔹 Northeast of #Rabotino, assault squads of the 47th Mechanized Brigade in the number of 25 men supported by Bradley IFVs have penetrated 500 metres deep into the defence of the 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the RF Armed Forces.

▪️ In the morning, the enemy moved an additional group, as well as one tank and several IFVs, attempting to completely close the road section to #Verbovoye. The tank was hit by a Grad shell, which flew exactly on target.

▪️ Now the assault squad 47, as well as attached groups of 33rd Mechanized Brigade, are trying to gain a foothold, rolling in waves northeast of the village. The fighting continues.

🔹 In #Pyatikhatki, this morning, a group of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade entered the village, where it was almost immediately covered by artillery fire. The surviving members of the 128 Brigade retreated to their initial lines.

▪️ Journalists from the US publication "The New York Times" have also arrived in #Tavriyskoye and plan to film a report on the actions of Ukrainian units as part of the assault on Russian positions.

🗓 Early in the morning, the enemy infantry groups under the cover of two forest belts north of #Rabotino attempted to break through the mine barriers, where they were met by Russian Marines of the 810th Marine Brigade. As a result of the ensuing small arms combat, the Ukrainian formations withdrew.

❗️Otherwise, the situation along the line of contact has stabilised slightly. This is due to AFU's really heavy losses in manpower. One of the units of the 9th Army Corps' 47th Mechanized Brigade was withdrawn to Novgorod-Volynsky for restoration.

▪️ At the same time, AFU reinforcements continue to be transferred to the forward positions. Columns of military equipment are noted near #Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka, #Belogorye and Krasnaya Krinitsa.

▪️ Also, closer to the front line in #Tavriyskoye and #Zheleznyanskoe, self-propelled and howitzer divisions of 116th and 117th Mechanized Brigades of the 10th Army Corps have been pulled together.

📌 The movement of artillery to the line of contact indicates an imminent intensification of hostilities.

🗓 During the night, combined assault groups of the 10th AC's 116th and 118th Mechanized Brigades attacked the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line. The attack involved only infantry units without armoured vehicles.

▪️ The attack was repulsed, but in the morning the AFU resumed the offensive with the support of artillery and forces of the 15th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard. At one point they even managed to occupy the northern outskirts of #Rabotino, but in the end our fighters pushed the AFU back. The clashes continue.

🔹 Positional fighting also began in the vicinity of #Belogorye, where the previous day the Ukrainian command transferred one platoon from #Gulyaypole. Activation in this area may indicate possible attempts of strikes in this direction.

▪️ At the same time in the rear, in the area of #Tavriyskoye the formation of a strike group is going on. Formations of the AFU's 65th Mechanized and 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigades with armoured vehicles have arrived there. Additional assault units of the 10th AC have also been transferred to #Orekhov.
