🗓 Last night there was unrest in #Crimea again. Six drones were launched from the territory of the #Odessa airport in the direction of #Crimea.
▪️ Having reached #Crimea, five of them hovered in the air not far from the peninsula, sometimes approaching and sometimes moving away. And one flew in the area of #Steregushchy and was eventually shot down by a crew of the Pantsir air defence missile system over #Gvardeyskoye. Other drones were overwhelmed by the crews and fell into the water.
❗️But the essence of this sortie is simple. What was needed was not damage, but an assessment of the reaction of air defence systems and checking the most acceptable route for the UAV. One UAV reached #Simferopol, which indicates the presence of small gaps.
🔹In anticipation of this, #NATO aircraft and drones carried out a comprehensive reconnaissance operation. In the air were American U-2S, MQ-9A, P-8A and even a British RC-135, accompanied by two Typhoon fighters.

🗓 Last night there was unrest in #Crimea again. Six drones were launched from the territory of the #Odessa airport in the direction of #Crimea.
❗️But the essence of this sortie is simple. What was needed was not damage, but an assessment of the reaction of air defence systems and checking the most acceptable route for the UAV. One UAV reached #Simferopol, which indicates the presence of small gaps.
🔹In anticipation of this, #NATO aircraft and drones carried out a comprehensive reconnaissance operation. In the air were American U-2S, MQ-9A, P-8A and even a British RC-135, accompanied by two Typhoon fighters.

▪️ AFU militants launched a missile strike with ATACMS missiles in #Crimea at night, the air defences worked over #Dzhankoy and #Simferopol, Rogov reported;
▪️ Aksenov warned residents that in the #Simferopol region near the village of #Donskoye, after repelling an ATACMS missile attack, submunitions scattered, and asked to call law enforcement if discovered;
▪️ Russian air defence shot down 6 #US ATACMS missiles and 2 French Hammer guided bombs over the day, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said;
▪️ Former lawyer Elman Pashayev was wounded in the SMO zone, his wife reported to RIA Novosti;
▪️ One woman died, another was hospitalised after the shelling of the #Kozino vollage in #Kursk region, by the AFU, the governor reported;
▪️ Ukrainian troops lost about 795 militants over the day in all directions in the SMO zone, MoD reported. Russian units destroyed 6 enemy armoured vehicles and 7 field artillery pieces.
