🔎 Rybar's team continues its daily analysis of the consequences of systemic fire attacks on Ukraine's energy system. This morning, the Russian Armed Forces once again launched massive strikes.

🔻 List of likely targets to be hit:

▪️ #Volyn and #Rivne Regions:

The outages in #Rivne and #Lutsk can be explained by a strike on the 330kV open switchgear (OSG) of the #Rivne NPP. But we doubt it: it is more likely that the strikes hit the #Lutsk - Severnaya 330 kV substation and the #Rivne 330 kV substation.

▪️ #Kirovograd Region:

As power outages were detected in Golovanevsky and Kropivnitsky districts, the Russian Forces may have hit the Pobuzhskaya 330/110 kV substation (two 330/110 kV autotransformers and one 150/35 kV transformer).

▪️ #Odessa Region:

Judging by the pattern of power outages, Russian Forces have hit the #Usatovo substation. It is unlikely that the strike hit the substation's general control station (GCS) as the open switchgear (OSG) is operational. The substation has three 330/110kV autotransformers and one of which was most likely hit.

Despite the outages in the #Podolsk region, we could not confirm that the 330 kV Podolskaya substation was affected. Because then the picture of the power distribution would have been different.

Behind the power outage in #Yuzhnoye is most likely a strike on the #Ajalyk 330/110 kV substation. Where exactly it was hit cannot be said without further information. The hit is indirectly confirmed and explained by increased overflows from Romania.

The outage in #Mayaki indicates a probable impact on the Novoodesskaya 330/110 kV substation. The situation is similar as at the #Usatovo substation: if there was a strike, it was not at the open switchgear, but at one of the two autotransformers. The 330 kV switchgear is operational.

On the afternoon of 23 November, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Ukrenergo said that the nuclear power plant has been restored. As of now, 75% of subscribers are supplied with electricity.

Authorities say mobile network has been restored in 73% of the country. It works worst in #Zaporozhye and #Donetsk regions.

▪️ In #Kiev, about a quarter of the capital's residents remain without electricity. The majority of the population is provided with heat and water. Authorities plan to introduce scheduled power cuts in the city starting 27 November.

▪️ Emergency blackouts are still taking place in #Odessa Oblast. Some residents of the region have not received electricity for three to four days. In #Odessa itself, authorities are promising to return to scheduled blackouts from Monday. There are problems with mobile communications of the Kyivstar operator. Fires in apartment buildings and flats have become more frequent in the city due to short circuits.

▪️ Things are worse in the #Dnipropetrovsk region. Emergency blackouts continue due to power shortages. In #Dnipropetrovsk the situation with water, electricity and mobile communications is still difficult. The best situation is in #KrivoyRog - there is light, heat and water.

▪️ #Ternopil and the region have imposed severe restrictions on electricity supply to subscribers.
➖ Ivano-Frankovsk has changed its blackout schedules due to increased consumption.
➖ The situation in the #Lvov region has slightly improved: about half of the residents have electricity
➖ In #Volyn region, 55% of subscribers are provided with electricity.
➖ In #Lutsk there are emergency water cuts.

▪️ The Kiev-controlled part of #Kherson region has been connected to electricity. Critical infrastructure facilities in Kherson are receiving power first.

▪️ Scheduled outage times in the #Vinnitsa region has been increased by 1.5 times. In three districts of the region, there are interruptions in the operation of pumping stations due to unstable power supply.

🩸 On the third day after the strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the consequences have still not been eliminated. Energy workers' efforts have prevented power supply even at some critical facilities, including logistical ones.

The consequences demonstrate the cumulative effect of the previous ones. Each successive one will increasingly affect the sustainability of the Ukrainian energy system, eventually bringing it to naught.

With the withdrawal of RF forces from #Kiev and other regions in northern and northeastern #Ukraine, strikes against facilities in #Westukraine have all but ceased.

Yes, power infrastructure is 👉 occasionally hit, but the effect is getting smaller each time because of the long pauses between strikes.

The current situation has enabled the transit of weapons, ammunition, equipment, fuel, food and medical supplies, from #Poland and other countries through #Westukraine.

♦️How is the Process organised?

For the past months, trains from Europe have been passing through the railway stations in #Kovel and #Lvov on an almost daily basis. In these cities, incoming arms and fuel are accumulated and distributed by direction.

And while previously the Ukrainian leadership complied with security and camouflage requirements, sending important convoys mainly at night, now all convoys move freely and during the day.

At the same time, the diversification of modes of delivery continues by using highways and motorways to transport cargoes of various purposes from Polish, Lithuanian and German ports.

♦️ What about Airbases and Airfields?

The airport in the Polish #Rzeszow city is still the main hub for the transit of Western-made weapons to #Ukraine. A string of heavy transport planes of the NATO bloc regularly fly from the US and European countries to #Poland.

However, the absence of any threat to military facilities in #Westukraine has allowed the AFU to use existing airfields and airports unhindered not only for tactical aviation, but also for transport aircraft as the AN-26s.

During the last few weeks Ukrainian transport aircrafts An-26 with military cargoes have been flying almost daily to #Lutsk airfield of the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade and to the airport of #Lvov. They turn off their transponders before entering Ukrainian airspace.

♦️Why risk sending by Air what can be sent by Trains and Convoys?

Planes are less capable of carrying - they can't carry at once what trains and convoys of trucks can carry. But they are more advantageous for faster delivery of ammunition and transportation of personnel.

According to some reports, the 204th TA Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force is repairing and refurbishing combat aircraft, and in #Lvov some types of artillery and tank armament. An-26 transports are transporting parts, spare parts and units, which are required to be delivered immediately.

♦️Why are there no Strikes against them?

As with the airfield in #Mirgorod, cruise missile strikes on the bases are effectively useless: by the time the Kalibras reach the western regions, all aircraft are gone, and strikes by bombers or artillery are impossible at this stage for the obvious reasons of #Ukraine's still active air defence and distance from the frontline.

♦️What about a possible Offensive?

Although Kiev considers an offensive in this direction from #Belarus unlikely, they are preparing for various scenarios - up to and including an attempt to cut the supply line in #Lvov and other regions.

The importance of the territories of western #Ukraine in the current conflict is invaluable to the AFU. Everything given by the West, a large part of the repair and recovery bases, arsenals and logistics hubs are stationed or pass through here.

And their safety is a priority. If a month ago there were about 500 people in the territory of #Kovel and #Lutsk, mostly members of the military defence forces, now their number reaches 2 thousand people from various formations.

Sources say that separate units of the 28th Mechanized Brigade, the 100th Territorial Defence Brigade, the Border Guard Sercice, as well as nationalist movements, including the Ichkerian group and the Turkish Bozkurt, are deployed near #Kovel. This does not include the grouping in the #Lvov region.

So there is no point in hoping for an easy ride here.

💥 Russian forces launched massive missile strikes against critical infrastructure in #Ukraine overnight.

The list of assets used in the attack was significantly expanded. The RF Armed Forces used kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, and even the Kinzhal hypersonic system.

🔹What is known by this Hour?

▪️ #Kiev: The engine room and boiler room of CHPP-5, a major generating station in the capital, have been hit. Combined with other hits, there have been significant power and communication problems in the city.

The facility has previously been targeted by Russian forces more than once, but the plant continued to operate. That said, if the RF Armed Forces manage to take out at least a few turbines and boilers, power generation will be significantly reduced.

▪️ #Kharkov: at least fifteen explosions were heard in the city. According to some reports, the operation of CHPP-3 and CHPP-5 was shut down. Local residents reported power and water supply outages, communication and heating problems.

▪️ #Dnepropetrovsk region: a series of explosions were heard in Pavlograd, Krivoy Rog and Dnipropetrovsk districts. According to preliminary reports, the targets of the attacks in the Krivoy Rog district could be the Krivoy Rog thermal power plant and the Yuzhnaya 330 substation.

▪️ #Zhytomyr region: the Zhytomyr 330 substation was allegedly hit: the regional centre was partially de-energised, about 150,000 subscribers were left without power.

▪️ #Volyn region: citizens heard powerful explosions in #Lutsk and #Kivertsy. The blow was so powerful that some residents of #Kivertsy reported that their houses were shaking.

There is an oil depot, an airfield and the Lutsk-North 330 substation, as well as military facilities in the #Lutsk area.

▪️ #Vinnitsa region: powerful explosions were heard in the region. Facilities at the Ladyzhyn TPP may have been hit again.

▪️ #Kirovograd region: local residents reported sounds of explosions in Kropivnitsky district and emergency power outages. The target of the attack in the region could have been the Ukrainka 330 substation.

▪️ #Odessa region: local authorities said a power facility in the region was hit. Among the possible targets of the strikes are the Adzhalyk 330 substation, Novoodesskaya 330 substation, Usatovo 330 substation and Tsentrolit 220 substation.

▪️ #Sumy region: one of the buildings of the Chemical Products Research Institute in Shostka was probably hit.

▪️ #Zaporozhye region: Local authorities reported that an energy facility in the region was hit.

▪️ Ivano-Frankovsk region: hit an unknown energy infrastructure facility.

▪️ Local residents also reported the sounds of explosions in #Lvov, #Kherson, #Khmelnytsky, #Nikolayev, #Ternopil, #Rivne, #Cherkasy and #Chernigov regions.

▪️ After the strikes, Ukrainian Railways reported train delays of up to an hour due to power supply problems. Several trains are delayed by almost four hours.

📌 Today's Wave of strikes was the most massive this year. Among the known targets are critical to the functioning of power plants are engine rooms.

The precise hits caused significant power supply problems in several regions of the country, which, however, were restored within hours.

The largest disruption in power supply to the contact line network was in central #Ukraine. Large interruptions were recorded near #Podilsk (#Odessa region) and #Odessa, as well as small ones near #Lvov and in the Carpathian passes.

In addition, local authorities have once again preventively switched off power before the raid, but this is also causing significant damage to the power system, undermining its stability.

Despite the lack of immediate results, such attacks are increasingly destabilising Ukraine's energy infrastructure, leaving hopes of its disintegration and disruption of railways and industry.

▪️ In the west of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), heavy fighting continues. The Wagner PMC has taken control of the AFU's Domino stronghold.

▪️ In the #Kherson direction yesterday, our troops destroyed a small group of enemy landing craft, but the AFU boats themselves managed to escape, reports from the field.

🔵 In #Crimea yesterday, an explosion on a railway near #Simferopol derailed wagons carrying grain. Train traffic was restored by the evening.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, Novaya Tavolzhanka came under fire. Two people were killed and one was seriously injured in the village of Nizhneye Berezovo, #Shebekino district.

▪️ In the #Kursk region, an explosion at a sports and recreation complex in the village of #Glushkovo blew out windows and damaged the facade. Two residents sustained moderate shrapnel wounds.

▪️ On the DPR the enemy fired 191 rounds, #Gorlovka, #Ozeryanovka, #Donetsk, #Aleksandrovka, #Yelenovka, #Volnovakha and #Peschanoye came under fire. A civilian was killed and three wounded.

🔹During the night, the RF Armed Forces carried out combined strikes on Ukrainian military facilities throughout the territory of #Ukraine. Arrivals were recorded in #Dnepropetrovsk, #Lutsk, #Kramatorsk, #Starokonstantinov, #Kolomyia and #Smela. In #Lvov, the LOTAR Plant and, presumably, the new airport terminal have been hit.

🔹On the frontline, heavy fighting continues. Russian troops repelled several attacks in the #Svatovo - #Kremennaya section near the #Karamazinovka ledge, #Torskoye and #Serebryanskoye forestry.

🔹On the #Vremyevka ledge, the situation remains difficult. Since the village of #Urozhaynoye transitioned to the "grey zone", the enemy continues to pull reserves there and prepares to develop an offensive.

🔹In the #Orekhov section of the front in the area of #Rabotino, the enemy is actively advancing, pushing through the defence. The AFU has occupied strongholds to the northeast, while separate units penetrate into the settlement itself. A Stryker APC and a Marder IFV were destroyed for the first time, which indicates the entry of the AFU reserves into battle.

🎯 The morning began with a missile strike by the RF Armed Forces against enemy targets on its territory. Explosions are heard in #Kiev, #Vinnitsia, #aporozhye, #Dnepropetrovsk, #Lutsk, #Volyn region and #Khmelnitsky region. In #Zaporozhye, there is a column of smoke in the area of the Ivchenko Progress Plant, which closely cooperates with Motor Sich in the production of turbines for aviation.

⚓️ Yesterday, in the Black Sea south of Crimea, enemy naval drones attacked a large landing ship "Caesar Kunikov", several of them reached their target. The ship sank.

🔹 In the #Kherson direction, the AFU hold part of #Krynki, the transfer of manpower and cargo across the #Dnieper is complicated by the work of our artillery and UAV operators. Our artillery is constantly working along the enemy shore.

🔹 On the #Zaporozhye front, the movement of AFU armored vehicles was revealed yesterday at #Verbovoye, a blow was struck at the cluster. Our troops are conducting offensive operations near #Rabotino. Our aviation does not stop working in the enemy's rear areas, using FAB-250/500 with UMPC.

🔹 In the direction of the Chasov Yar, the Russian Army is attacking south of #Bogdanovka in the area of the Valyanovka railway station.

🔹 South of #Kremennaya, heavy fighting is underway near #Belogorovka.

💥 At night, enemy drones attacked an oil depot in #Kursk. In the #Bryansk region, the village of #Zernovo in the Suzemsky district was shelled.

🎬 #Kherson direction: The enemy's agricultural multicopter of the Baba Yaga type is a dangerous thing. It carries several heavy mines or other explosive devices capable of destroying an entire tank in the night or scattering many magnetic mines along the routes of our equipment.
