🔹 The units of the 6th Army and 1st Tank Army of the "West" Group of the RF Armed Forces also went on the offensive against the positions of Ukrainian formations on the line #Sinkovka - #Ivanovka - #Kislovka.

▪️ At #Sinkovka, Russian troops, attacking along the railway from the direction of Liman 1st, took three strongholds in heavy fighting on the approaches to the village. The RF Armed Forces pushed in 1 km deep.

▪️ Similarly, servicemen of the RF Armed Forces are actively assaulting landings where the enemy has taken refuge in the direction of #Ivanovka and #Kislovka. The advance was about 1.5 km.

❗️The assault on Ukrainian positions is very difficult due to dense mined terrain, as well as conveyor belt sending "cannon fodder" to the frontlines. The basis of the defence is the 14th Mechanized Brigade, reinforced by Territorial Defence.

📌 Due to significant losses, reinforcements continue to be transferred to #Kupyansk. The other day, two battalions of an unidentified unit started to be sent from #Zhitomir.

🔹 Near #Kupyansk, Russian troops continue their systematic assault on Ukrainian positions. Over the past few days, localised attacks supported by artillery of the RF Armed Forces have dislodged the forces of the 115th Mechanized Brigade from several strongholds.

▪️ The enemy's losses have reached significant figures. Now formations of the Territorial Defence and 40th Artillery Brigade are mining the approaches to the frontlines in order to complicate the advance of the Russian Army.

❗️Nevertheless, the position of the AFU in the command of the #Kupyansk grouping is recognised as critical. To strengthen the frontlines in anticipation of a new phase of the Russian AFU offensive, the transfer of reinforcements has begun.

▪️ From #Soledar direction and from #Zhitomir region unidentified AFU units have been sent to #Kupyansk. Also 200 militants from the 4th National Guard and 300 from the 15th Border Guard Detachment of the Ukrainian State Security Service are manning the lines in #Dvurechnaya, #Sinkovka, #Petropavlovka and #Stelmakhovka.

📌 The enemy grouping near #Kupyansk has strengthened, which confirms the information about the extremely difficult situation of the AFU in the area.

🔹Yesterday, the deadline for submitting alternative draft laws on mobilisation to the Verkhovna Rada expired. In total, there were 5 of them, 1 governmental and 4 parallel ones. In the morning, the Rada's Defence, Security and Intelligence Committee began its meeting to determine the fate of the future law, whether to bring it to the session hall for a vote and, if so, in what form. MP Zheleznyak noted that the discussion of the government bill is far from the top of the agenda. He predicted that no decision may be made at all. The decision has been postponed until today, 10 Jan.

🔹In #Odessa, employees of military commissions are actively mastering a new method of mobilisation, raids in public transport. Odessians posted a video in social networks, as the military stopped the tram, pulled out all the men from it and pushed them into their bus. Then there was a video of military officers breaking into a trolleybus for the same purpose. The male passengers were seized and taken away, despite the active indignation of the women. So, no matter what laws on mobilisation are adopted, methods outside the laws continue to play a leading role in replenishing the AFU.

🔹In villages in #Kievshchyna, employees of military commissions have also become active. A local resident complained on social networks that they, together with district police officers, drive up to houses, enter courtyards, and even break into doors if they are not opened. According to a woman, in recent days in her village alone about 70 persons liable for military service have been taken away in this way, some of them at night.

🔹Outside the front, Ukrainians are also fighting for life and business. A military farmer appealed to Zelensky in social networks with a request to stop the sale of land. The thing is that since 1 Jan a new rule came into force, according to which individuals and legal entities can buy plots of agricultural land with an area of 10,000 hectares. Previously it was possible to buy a maximum of 100 hectares. Ukrainian small and medium farmers opposed this innovation. While many of them are drafted to the front, large fonds and banks will buy up everything. The middle class in the countryside would be completely destroyed. Of course, the authorities ignored all the demands. After all, the transnational corporations, to which the Ukrainian authorities are subordinated, are interested in this very scenario. The same Black Rock I wrote about.

🔹An MoD official, Aleksandr Kozlovsky, suspected of corruption in AFU supplies, just decided to put the stolen money into the ground. As it became known on the results of pretrial investigation, he bought up 47 land plots in #Kiev, #Khmelnitsky, #Vinnitsa, #Cherkassy, #Zhitomir and #Poltava regions. At the same time, the title to the plots was registered to his mother-in-law and father-in-law. In total, he embezzled 170 mln. hryvnias. So in addition to land he had enough for a flat in #Kiev and an expensive SUV.

🔹Defence Minister Umerov summed up several major corruption cases in his ministry, which became known recently. According to him, an internal audit of the ministry over the past 4 months revealed violations for more than 10 billion hryvnias. For the near future, the minister promised more news about detentions and criminal cases in the MoD. Of course, he promised that everything will be fair now, as new defence procurement schemes are being implemented according to #NATO standards. Weapons, ammunition, logistics equipment, fuel, food and clothing for the troops will be purchased not by the ministry, but by two special agencies. In fact, this does not look like a fight against corruption, but rather the implementation of a standard Soros scheme, whereby national corruption will be replaced by supranational corruption.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, the AFU command continues attempts to move more manpower and weapons to the left bank by boats with homemade ice protection. Heavy fighting continues in #Krynki. There is information from #Nikolayev that columns of AFU equipment are being sent to #Snigirevka, and new Ukrainian units are being formed in #Nikolayev.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our aviation is most active and strikes with guided bombs, including on the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line. The AFU periodically tries to break through to our positions in small groups and short runs, unsuccessfully.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, the advance of our forces from #Marinka is complicated by the AFU entrenched in #Georgiyevka. From the south of #Maryinka ours are attacking towards #Pobeda. From this area came rare first-person footage of a battle, with a tank duel at the crossroads of the N-15 motorway and the #Maryinka - #Pobeda road. The crossroads control was taken over by our units. Our reconnaissance is entering the borders of #Krasnogorovka, an important AFU town.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, in the south of #Avdeevka, the AFU are throwing infantry into the battle, trying to cut off our ledge, which is almost 2 km deep in their defence. At the same time, the main forces of the AFU are systematically retreating from the south towards the Coke Plant, a powerful fortification, which ours have still to retake. South of #Pervomayskoye, our forces have established firm control over positions and are moving on. The enemy claims that we managed to break through to their rear at the Tsarskaya Okhota fortified area thanks to a pipe discovered by ours from the Yasinovatskaya junction. It is difficult to imagine how about 150 fighters crawled 2 km in a pipe with a diameter of about 0.8 m with equipment, weapons and armor. The wit and strength of the Russian soldier!

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our army continues attacks on the heights in the north and northwest of #Kleshcheyevka. In #Bogdanovka, our fighters are holding on in the centre of the village.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, there are small movements with good prospects. In the #Liman sector, our forces pushed through the defence line of the AFU in the area of #Yampolovka and fighting is underway. In the #Kupyansk sector, ours have advanced by 2 km from #Krakhmalnoye.

💥Our Aerospace Forces struck targets in #Kiev, #Zhitomir, etc. In #Mirnograd, attacks were carried out on AFU locations.In #Kharkov, AFU plans to move reserves to the left bank of the #Oskol River were disrupted by a secondary detonation after the strikes. In #Kherson, the deployment point of the AFU Marine Corps have been hit.

🔹In #Kherson Direction, no change in #Krynki. The AFU are are killing reserves in attempts to strengthen the garrison on the left bank. Ours are countering fire from the right bank and drones.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, a weather related slight lull in the fighting,

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are demining the #Zverinets fortified area. The powerful position consists of many “holes” for 2-3 people; ours have forced out the AFU with kamikaze drones. Now the way is open to attack on the #Novomikhaylovka - #Paraskoviyevka - #Konstantinovka line from the north and to cover #Pobeda from the east.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, on the northern #Avdeyevka flank, our units advanced with combat to about 600m in #Stepovoye. The western outskirts have become grey zone, and there is positional fighting in the south and north. North of Golubykh (Blue) Lakes ours are going south in the grey zone, levelling the frontline along the ledge in the area of dachas. The AFU left the company stronghold and withdrew closer to the quarry. In the direction of #Pervomayskoye, our forces knocked the AFU out of their positions in a surprise attack and advanced another 1.5 km. The AFU retreated disorderly, abandoning their weapons. In the area of Tsarskaya Okhota there are AFU counterattacks, but our positions are being held.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, they report that our forces are advancing from #Khromovo to #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). If this is confirmed, there will be about 1km to the northeastern outskirts of the village. At #Bogdanovka, fighting is taking place on the northwestern outskirts. The AFU, imposing a shooting battle on ours, were able to recapture part of the landing that turns into the heights. In the village, our army has the initiative.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, on the #Liman front, there are active battles in the area of #Terny. Our forces have advanced at Laptev Yar, the AFU are retreating. Our immediate goal is to approach the #Terny village, which is a logistics hub between #Torskoye and #Makeyevka. There are about 2.5 km left to the village along the ravine. On the #Kupyansk front, our forces, having stopped attempts to attack “head-on” at #Sinkovka, are trying to bypass the village from the west. We manage to advance, fighting takes place near Lake Liman. The AFU counterattack, but ours fight back with artillery. Northeast of #Tabayevka, there is progress along the route towards #Kislovka.

☠️ In #Belgorod, #Rostov and #Volgograd regions, 8 drones were shot down, one of them caused a fire on the territory of the Volgograd Refinery. Our refineries, obviously poorly covered by electronic warfare, became a key target of the AFU.

💥 Our Aerospace Forces hit facilities in Krivoy Rog with geraniums. Several boiler houses and enterprises were deenergised. There were also strikes on military facilities in #Kramatorsk, #Zhitomir, #Kharkov region.
