Due to the systematic fire, the Ukrainian powery system is losing resilience. Authorities have planned a temporary power outage across the country on 20 October.

▪️ Due to the threat of a defensive breakthrough by Wagner PMC assault troops, the enemy command moved units of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade into the city and to the south of #Andreevka settlement.
▪️ AFU units continue to arrive in Chasov Yar. By 25 October, the Ukrainian command plans to deploy a grouping of around 10,000 troops in that direction.
#Lugansk Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants have launched a HIMARS MLRS strike on #Popasna.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ There are no significant changes in the front line near #Donetsk. DPR troops are fighting near #Donetsk airport, defeating enemy SRGs trying to penetrate advanced Russian positions.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

🩸 The situation remains unchanged. The transfer of people and equipment from the #Kherson region continues. The 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade is expected to arrive in #Barvenkovo and #Gavrilovka in the near future.
#Kupyansk - Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Units of the 32nd Composite Battalion are conducting a positional defence in the vicinity of #Sinkovka. In order to align the front line, the forces of the 32nd Separate Rifle Brigade of the Territorial Defence are planning an offensive on the #Sinkovka - #Petropavlovka line with the aim of reaching #Lyman 1 and #Olshany.
▪️ Artillery crews of the 14th Mechanized AFU Brigade shell the #Orlyanka - #Pervomayskoye line under UAV target control. The enemy has moved one M142 HIMARS MLRS to #Kupyansk.
▪️ Russian forces returned fire on the base of the 2nd Battalion of the 14th Mechanized Brigade in #Zagoruykovka. Part of the Ukrainian brigade fled from their positions.
▪️ Russian forces are firing incessantly along almost the entire line of contact. Morale in the Ukrainian ranks is low due to heavy losses and poor living conditions.
The lack of electricity and gas supply and a sharp cold snap have created a critical situation in some areas. More than a dozen members of the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade in #Stelmahovka have suffered frostbite to their limbs.

▪️ Combined units of the AFU's 66th Mechanized and 25th Airborne Brigades are reinforcing their positions. MATRIX UAV operators are being trained in the #Rubtsov area.
▪️ Personnel and armoured vehicles of the 3rd Battalion of the AFU's 17th Tank Brigade, transferred from the Kherson direction arrived in the vicinity of #Kolodezi. Logistics services provided fuel and lubricants.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU for the third day tried to storm the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line. Their new attempts to break through to the #Pologi road failed. At #Verbovoye our forces repulsed several attacks. The intensity of the AFU artillery suppress our forces and prevents counterattacks. Our counterbattery forces still lacking. We managed to advance a little further near #Pyatikhatki.
🔹In #Donetsk Directions, rain and mud slow down the actions. From #Novomikhaylovka and #Marinka tactical successes are reported. #Marinka is still not fully under our control. On the southern #Avdeyevka flank, the AFU counterattack, and our army withdrew a bit. On the northern flank, in the east of #Stepovoye (#Petrovskoye), we are clearing the cellars, without further progress. But towards #Novokalinovo, ours advanced, albeit small.
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, our forces restore their presence in #Kleshcheyevka. At #Andreyevka our counterattacks have not brought any tangible result, but we try not to lose the initiative, despite the dense work of AFU artillery and drones. 🔹 Near #Kupyansk, the servicemen of the RF Armed Forces Group "West" during several weeks of systematic advance deep into the defence of the AFU, knocked out Ukrainian formations from several landings south and southwest of Liman 1st and entered the village of #Sinkovka.
▪️ The settlement can actually be called an AFU stronghold on the site, despite its small size. The AFU command deployed large reserves to defend the village, but Russian fighters managed to gain a foothold.
▪️ As a result of the latest battles, the RF Armed Forces caused significant damage to the enemy. According to the interception data, the combined units of the AFU lost 1 killed and 20 wounded, and 30 were missing, which can be equated to liquidated or captured.
🔹 To the east at the #Ivanovka - #Kislovka line, positional fighting continues without visible changes in the front. But in the vicinity of the abandoned village of #Zagoruykovka or #Timkovka, Russian troops managed to cut into the enemy's defence.
▪️ Despite the absence of any fortified positions, the former settlement is located on a hill where the Ukrainian command built its defense along the Timkovka-Ivanovka-Kislovka line.
▪️ Because of this, Ukrainian formations urgently began to transfer reinforcements to strengthen the second defensive line in #Podoli and #Petropavlovka. Also, three unidentified units were transferred from the borders with the #Belgorod region to #Kupyansk.

▪️ Strongpoints and powerful fortifications are being set up in #Petropavlovka. Judging by the activity of the 41st Mechanised Brigade, this is where the defence line will be built after the breakthrough of the #Sinkovka - #Zagoruykovka line.
▪️ Reinforcements are also being transferred from other areas. The forces of the 3rd battalion of the 43rd Mechanised Brigade, consisting entirely of mobilised Ukrainians, arrived in the forests near #Masyutovka.
▪️ From the #Svatovo sector to the landings northeast of #Kupyansk and near #Sinkovka, the formation of the 108th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade was withdrawn. Due to the need to strengthen the defense of #Kupyansk, another line has been weakened.

🔹The RF Armed Forces continue their attempts to break through beyond the northern outskirts of #Sinkovka village, as well as to penetrate the AFU defensive lines at the #Zagoruykovka - #Timkovka - #Ivanovka - #Kislovka line.
▪️ Advanced squads of Russian troops and reconnaissance groups identify enemy targets and coordinate fire damage along the front edge of the AFU.
▪️ In #Sinkovka itself, attempts to enter the village from the north have so far failed. Up to nine armoured vehicles took part in the recent assault on Ukrainian positions. Ukrainian resources subsequently published a video of Russian equipment being hit at the northern entrance.
▪️ Clashes have resumed for access to the eastern outskirts of #Ivanovka. So far, fighting is taking place in a nearby forest belt, where (the enemy) managed to push back Russian troops a week ago.

The next boats on the #Dnieper were hit. Yesterday, our anti-aircraft gunners shot down an Mi-8 helicopter near #Tyaginka. Despite these point successes, the situation for our army remains difficult. Our military cannot suppress the Ukrainian artillery, which is in full force on the other bank. The AFU shell the rear settlements on the left bank. By morning, three people were seriously wounded on the #Alyoshki - #Radensk motorway. A second drone strike attacked an ambulance that had travelled to the site. Fortunately, the medics were not injured.

In recent days, the RF Armed Forces managed to advance to the southeastern outskirts of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka and reach the eastern outskirts of #Bogdanovka.
🔹In the #Avdeyevka sector, units of the RF Armed Forces managed to dislodge Ukrainian formations from the landings west of the railway tracks near #Stepovoye (⚠️#Petrovskoye on Rybar maps). And on the southern flank, Russian servicemen eliminated the last centre of resistance of the AFU in the Vinogradniki Gardening Community.
🔹#Maryinka has been almost completely cleared of the AFU. The enemy controls about 1 percent of the settlement's territory. For the long awaited liberation of the town, it remains to clear the territory of the agricultural enterprise located on the outskirts and to reach the end of Ivana Franko Street.

🔸Russian troops continue their offensive in several directions at once.
🔹In the #Kupyansk sector, the RF Armed Forces are trying to break through the AFU defences in the north of #Sinkovka and on the #Zagoruykovka - #Timkovka - #Ivanovka - #Kislovka line.
🔹In the #Soledar direction, Russian troops concentrated their main efforts on entering the operational space for a further assault on Chasov Yar.
