If you want SEO, the first thing you need to do is to properly add metadata and adjust the tags, along with the various social aspects like Schema data, Open Graph tags, and Twitter tags. And that’s something that RankMath makes like a breeze.
When you install RankMath and activate it, a separate menu opens in the WordPress editor you are working on (tested in Classic WordPress Editor, Gutenberg Block Editor, and Elementor). There you can add and get a checklist of your SEO for that post/page. It lets you set multiple keywords, adjust the Schema metadata, automatically sets the OpenGraph and Twitter Tags (which you can obviously customize yourself), adjust your Search Engine preview - all within the editor itself.
You can do even more in the RankMath menu in the WordPress Admin Panel. There you can set up redirects, monitor 404 errors, set up Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), adjust meta data for Robots, setup NoFollow and NoIndexes, and much more. Overall, RankMath packs quite a punch, and is an integral part of our SEO strategy.
Yoast is a more famous plugin, similar to RankMath. It also offers similar features as RankMath.
Both RankMath and Yoast have their respective premium versions, but if you are like us, with no money to spend on SEO, the free versions should be necessarily a part of your SEO strategy.
