About the role
We're fixing broken data pipelines. No "vision" – just code rescue. You'll join a Customer Data & Intelligence team to refactor legacy SQL/Python mess into clean, tested dbt models.
What you'll do (first 2 months)
Audit & patch failing pipelines (AWS Glue/Databricks)
Move critical tables from stored procedures → dbt (staging → marts)
Deploy automated data quality tests (dbt expectations / Great Expectations)
Must have
Expert SQL (rewrite 1000-line spaghetti queries)
dbt (setup from scratch, project structure)
Python / PySpark (fix & optimize)
AWS (S3, Athena, IAM)
CI/CD (automated tests on commit)
