🎆 Yad Drishyam Thannashyam (all that we see with our physical eyes is bound to perish). It is not only man who is endowed with physical eyes but birds and animals also have them. Even worms and insects have eyes. But what is the use of eyes if we cannot see that which is eternal and changeless? These eyes perceive only ephemeral, impermanent and unreal things. In the world, we find people spending their whole life in mundane activities, perceiving only ephemeral things. Jnana (wisdom) alone is true and eternal. Only he who has the eye of wisdom deserves to be called a human being. It is therefore essential that man should turn his vision inward and try to recognize the Atmic principle. We can experience the Atmic principle only when we turn our vision inward. With our outward vision, we perceive only transient, ephemeral phenomena.
🎆 ياد دريشيام تانّـاشيام (هر آن چه با چشمان فيزيكي مان مي بينيم در شرف نابودي است). اين تنها انسان نيست كه به او چشم فيزيكي بخشيده شده، بلكه پرندگان و حيوانات نيز چشم فيزيكي دارند، حتی كرم ها و حشرات نيز. اما فايده چشم چيست وقتي نمي توانيم آن چه ابدي و آن چه مستلزم تغيير است را ببينيم؟ اين چشم ها فقط چيزهاي زودگذر، بي ثبات و غير واقعي را درك مي كنند. در دنيا، مردماني را مي بينيم كه همه زندگي خود را صرف اعمال دنيوي مي كنند، و فقط چيزهاي زودگذر را درك مي كنند. جنانا (معرفت) خود به تنهايي واقعي و ابدي است. تنها كسي كه چشم معرفت دارد شايسته اين است كه نوع بشر خوانده شود. از اين رو ضروري است كه انسان ديد خود را به سوي درون بگرداند و سعي كند تا اصل آتما را بشناسد. ما فقط وقتي مي توانيم اصل آتما را تجربه كنيم كه ديد خود را به درون بگردانيم. با ديد بيروني، ما فقط پديده هاي زودگذر و فاني را خواهيم ديد.
