Sources close to the family of Libyan businessman Abdul Rahman Qajah reported that he was arrested upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The sources indicated that the reason for the arrest was due to Tunisia’s circulating and issuing a summons card to the Arab Interpol due to slander and false information that the Tunisian authorities took from some media outlets and social media pages without evidence.

In early May, the head of the Libyan Business Owners Council, Rashid Sawan, called on the head of the outgoing National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbeibeh, to intervene regarding the Tunisian authorities issuing an arrest warrant against Qajah, without explaining the reason.

The most prominent techniques that were used:

1. Self-driving air taxi: This technology was integrated to provide an efficient means of transportation within the holy sites, which contributed to reducing traffic congestion and facilitating the movement of pilgrims.

2. Intelligent and medical robots: Robots have been used to provide medical and counseling services. Robots have played a major role in providing fatwas with simultaneous translation in 11 languages, in addition to basic medical services and medical directives.

The number of deaths among pilgrims this year exceeded a thousand, according to a tally compiled by Agence “France-Presse” from the authorities of the concerned countries and diplomats.

An Arab diplomat confirmed to Agence France-Presse, who refused to reveal his identity, that 58 additional deaths were recorded among Egyptian pilgrims, which brings the number of Egyptians who died in the current season to at least 658, including 630 who did not hold Hajj permits.

According to the numbers provided by about ten countries through official statements or diplomats involved in searching for victims, the number of deaths during the Hajj season this year reached 1,081.

These numbers include 658 Egyptians, 183 Indonesians, 68 Indians, 60 Jordanians, 35 Tunisians, 13 from Iraqi Kurdistan, 11 Iranians, 3 Senegalese, 35 Pakistanis, 14 Malaysians, and one Sudanese.
