Conjoined twins have revealed their incredibly unique lifestyle after questions rushed by social media users.

Conjoined twins Carmen and Lupita Andrade, 23, posted a video viewed more than 9.8 million times on their TikTok account, in which they answered their followers’ questions, some of which were sensitive and very private.

The twins moved to the United States from Mexico when they were two years old, sharing organs and limbs below the waist and cannot be separated by surgery.

The twins confirmed that they are now in good shape, but they share some unusual effects as a result of the adhesion of body parts, with Carmen saying: “If one of us is tired, it doesn’t have to be that we are both tired, because we have two separate minds one can be awake and the other is asleep, we are two separate people.

Mexico City police announced that they are investigating the case of a serial killer after human bones, a saw, blood, and identity cards of missing women were found in an apartment rented by the suspect.

The Mexican capital’s prosecutor’s office announced that the suspect, known only by his first name, “Miguel,” is currently being held on charges of murder and attempted murder of two women.

Miguel had assaulted a 17-year-old girl after breaking into her apartment, raping, and strangling her, and when her mother returned home, she saw him leave, where he stabbed her in the neck and fled, and the girl died, and the mother survived.

Miguel was quickly arrested because he lives near the crime scene, and upon searching another apartment he rented nearby, investigators discovered evidence suggesting he may be a serial killer.

Nine people have been killed in two separate attacks targeting candidates for upcoming local elections in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas.

According to district prosecutors, the attacks took place in the towns of Villa Corzo and Mabastipec, injuring one candidate.

The Chiapas region is suffering from the effects of organized crime and has seen an uptick in attacks against electoral participants in recent days.

Another attack last week in the town of Concordia, near Villa Corzo, killed six people, including mayoral candidate Lucero Lopez Maza, after a campaign rally.

Local elections will be held in southern Mexico on( June) 2, 2024, and will be accompanied by presidential elections at the national, House of Representatives and Senate.

Mexico’s elections are challenged by organized crime gangs as candidates are pressured and threatened by them, and since last September, at least 28 candidates have been assassinated in Mexico.

Samuel Garcia, governor of the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, said that nine people were killed, including a child, and 63 others were injured when a platform collapsed during an election event for the Citizens Movement party, on Wednesday night.

The collapse of the theater was attributed to strong winds that struck the area during a rally for Mexican presidential election candidate Jorge Alvarez Mainz.

Hours after the accident, Maines posted a tweet on the “X” platform, in which he announced that “he was fine and unharmed” at his electoral rally in the city of San Pedro Garcia.

Mexico has recorded 48 deaths from a severe heat wave amid expectations of record temperatures in the coming days, coinciding with a strong storm of hail that swept through the country’s largest city.

The Mexican Ministry of Health said that 48 deaths were recorded at the national level linked to the heat wave that began in mid-March, and 956 people suffered from various health problems, according to updated data until May 21.

Lake Bustillos in northern Mexico has been subjected to a severe drop in water levels, leading to the death of thousands of fish, amid a severe drought sweeping the country.

Local authorities announced that the water level in Lake Bustillos had fallen to less than 50% of the normal level, which led to an increase in the concentration of pollutants and their danger to the species of fish and marine animals that live in the lake.

In a press statement, Irma de la Peña Meraz, head of Cuauhtémoc’s Department of Environment, said: “As the water level decreases, pollutants become more concentrated, which affects the species that live in the lake.”

Twenty-seven people have died in Central America due to landslides and floods over the past week, most of them in El Salvador, according to officials.

Salvadoran Environment Minister Fernando Lopez said that the heavy rains were caused by a depression over the Pacific Ocean, in addition to an indirect effect of Tropical Storm “Alberto,” which killed four people in Mexico.

In a television interview, the commander of the Civil Protection Service in El Salvador, Luis Amaya, stated that the death toll in the country had risen to 19, including two girls who were swept away by landslides that swept through their home.

Bolivian police arrested Army Commander General Juan José Zuniga, after President Luis Arce dismissed him and accused him of carrying out a “failed coup attempt.”
