The spokesman for the Libyan Export Development Center, Mohamed Hamouda, said that the value of Libyan non-oil exports amounted to $3.1 billion dollars .

Libyan dates, which are grown in oasis and desert areas, ranked first in these exports, followed by olive oil grown locally in the western regions of the country, and fish that abound on the Libyan coast.

Hamouda pointed out in press statements that there are many companies that export various products, including dates, honey, pasta, couscous, fish, packaged foodstuffs, and building materials.

Hamouda added that Libyan exports are heading to countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia, especially to Sweden, Turkey, Niger, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Hamouda explained that Libya aims to enhance its non-oil exports as alternatives to the country's main source of income, which is oil, which constitutes about 95% of national income.

The Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Fatima Thabet Chiboub, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the European Union that includes a strategic partnership to enhance investment in renewable energy worth 472.6 million euros.

The initiative will allocate 334.6 million euros from the European Union in the form of grants, mainly supporting the electrical interconnection project between Italy and Tunisia.

The project aims to achieve integration between the electricity markets in North Africa and Europe, and to ensure the stability of the electricity network on both sides of the Mediterranean.

Minister Chiboub indicated that the project also lays the foundations for a strong partnership between Tunisia and the European Union in several areas, especially those related to energy transition programs.

Reported symptoms include muscle and joint pain, a burning sensation inside the eyes, and fatigue, which are classic symptoms of dengue fever. These symptoms usually appear between 24 to 48 hours after the bite of an infected mosquito.

Those affected also suffer from severe headaches, pain behind the eyes, facial redness, and muscle and joint pain, giving the disease the nickname “bone crusher,” in addition to nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes.

A new report issued by the World Health Organization shows that ultra-processed foods, tobacco, and alcohol, in addition to fossil fuels, are major factors behind the deaths of about 2.7 million people annually in Europe.

According to the data presented in the report, more than 7,400 people die every day in Europe as a result of what is described as “powerful industries” that contribute to the deterioration of public health through their harmful products and practices.

The Italian Coast Guard announced the recovery of 12 new bodies, including women and children following the sinking of a boat carrying migrants this week in the south of the country, while one of the survivors died while being treated.

Russian President’s Assistant Nikolai Patrushev said that Washington and London are seeking to revive Nazi ideology in Europe under the slogan of “freedom and democracy” and direct it again against Russia.
