Традиционное жилище ненцев - чум.
Из всего многообразия арктической архитектуры (яранга, землянка, челюстной дом) чум по своей конструкции выглядит самым простым: прямой геометрический конус из нескольких десятков (25 – 40) еловых шестов, поставленных по кругу, на которые крепятся пологи из оленьих шкур. Чум укрывается двумя пологами, сшитыми из 30-40 оленьих шкур каждый. Как и в одежде, верхний слой мехом наружу, а внутренний - ворсом вовнутрь.
Это призвано удерживать тепло и служить максимально долго.
Вероятно, чум является самым древним из северных жилищ: по самой убедительной пока версии, переход человека в Америку произошёл через Берингов пролив - в арктической зоне во время последнего оледенения в эпоху палеолита. Когда племена атапасков, живущие в лесной зоне Северной Америки, и их соседи выходили летом из лесов в тундру, то они использовали подобную конструкцию, которая напоминала чум. Индианисты называют это сооружение вигвам.

When the Atapaskan tribes living in the forest zone of North America and their neighbors went out of the forests into the Tundra in the summer, they used a similar construction that resembled chum. Indologists call this construction the wigwam.

У ненцев особое отношение к понятию «семья». Для ненцев не так важна родовая структура общества, как собственно семья, его первичная ячейка.
Отвечая на вопрос, почему семья важна для жителей тундры, ненцы удивляляются этой формулировке: с точки зрения ненцев, если у человека нет семьи, то он, по большому счету, не состоялся. Вот, что говорят сами ненцы: «Если бы у отца не было жены, кто бы ему готовил? Не было бы детей, кто бы ему помогал? Когда есть семья, то становится легче. Семья - важно, потому что как же без семьи вообще можно?»

Утром мы прилетаем в Салехард. Не теряя времени, сразу садимся в снегоболотоход ТРЭКОЛ, на котором мы отправляемся в тундру. Дорога неблизкая и непростая, займёт часов 10. Но цель оправдывает средства, - целых четыре дня мы будем жить в стойбище ненецких оленеводов. Невероятный опыт, который позволит вам посмотреть на мир под другим углом.
Жизнь в стойбище течёт размеренно, северные люди никуда не спешат.
Вся жизнь здесь подчинена ритму оленьей жизни. Можно замедлиться и наблюдать. Ненцы покажут нам свою жизнь, - мы увидим и ловлю оленей, и подлёдную рыбалку, и изготовление одежды, и их традиционные игры. Мы также будем участвовать в каслании - переезде на новое место, когда полностью разбирается чум, все перевозится на новое место и ставится заново.

In the morning we arrive in Salekhard. Right then we set off for tundra by TREKOL snow and swamp vehicle. The road is long and not easy, it will take about 10 hours. But the end justifies the means - we’re going to stay at Nenets reindeer herders’ camp for four days! An incredible experience that will make you see the world from a different point.
Life in the camp flows steadily, northern people are in no hurry.
The life here is subject to the rhythm of reindeer life. You can slow down and watch. The Nenets will show us their life - we will see reindeer lassoing, ice fishing, clothes making, and their traditional games. We will also participate in migratong - moving to a new place, when the chum is completely disassembled, everything is transported to a new place and put anew.

In the morning we arrive in Salekhard. Right then we set off for tundra by TREKOL snow and swamp vehicle. The road is long and not easy, it will take about 10 hours. But the end justifies the means - we’re going to stay at Nenets reindeer herders’ camp for four days! An incredible experience that will make you see the world from a different point.
Life in the camp flows steadily, northern people are in no hurry.
The life here is subject to the rhythm of reindeer life. You can slow down and watch. The Nenets will show us their life - we will see reindeer lassoing, ice fishing, clothes making, and their traditional games. We will also participate in migratong - moving to a new place, when the chum is completely disassembled, everything is transported to a new place and put anew.

💥 МЫ ВЕРНУЛИСЬ С ЯМАЛА 😍
❄️ Это стало первым путешествием в Россию для наших иностранных путешественников, и сразу какое!
Впервые в гостях у наших ненцев побывали гости из Бахрейна, а испанские друзья очень подружились с местными детишками.
🦌 Наша команда активно участвовала в жизни ненцев - мы ловили рыбу, добывали лёд для питьевой воды, рубили дрова, охотились на зайцев и лис. А самый юный участник команды - 12-летний Ваня превратился в настоящего оленевода 😁
Ребята обещали вернуться сюда еще не раз, так что с нетерпением ждём новых совместных путешествий🥰

❄️ This was the first trip to Russia for our foreign travelers! And it was amazing expedition! For the first time our Nenets had guests from Bahrain, and our Spanish mates had fun with the local kids.
🦌 Our team was deeply immersed in Nenets life - we fished, got ice for drinking water, chopped wood, hunted hares and foxes. And the youngest member of the team - 12-year-old Vanya turned into a real reindeer breeder 😁.
The guys promised to come back once again, so we are looking forward to more journeys together🥰
