🇪🇹 ЮЖНАЯ ЭФИОПИЯ: ЯРКИЕ И АУТЕНТИЧНЫЕ ПЛЕМЕНА
В ноябре нам предстоит побывать в Южной Эфиопии и посетить традиционные племена ньянгатом, каро, хамер, арборе, банна, мурси, боди и дассанеч. Каждое из племен самобытно и характеризуется уникальными традициями.
Культуры племени мурси
Женщины мурси известны своими большими круглыми (и не только) губными тарелками.
🧐 Существует несколько теорий ношения губных тарелок: обезображивание, чтобы предотвратить порабощение в древности; защита от проникновения злых духов в организм через рот; определение социального статуса с указанием количества скота, которое жених должен заплатить в качестве приданого невесте, владеющей тарелкой.
Мурси - непревзойденные мастера шрамирования ⚡. Шрамы на их телах символизируют социальный статус и прошлые заслуги. Шрамы создаются с помощью лезвия и растения верблюжья колючка. Чтобы добиться выпуклости шрама, в ранку высаживают личинку мухи, которая, помимо прочего, избавляет от всех возможных инфекций.

In November we will visit Southern Ethiopia and different traditional tribes of Nyangatom, Karo, Hamer, Arbore, Mursi, Bodi, Banna and Dassanech. Each of the tribes is distinctive and characterized by unique traditions.
The Mursi culture
The Mursi women are famous for their large round (and not only) lip plates worn by women.
🧐 There are several theories of the wearing of lip plates: disfiguring to prevent enslavement by Arabs in antiquity; protection against the penetration of evil spirits into the body through the mouth; determination of social status, showing the amount of cattle that the groom must pay as a dowry for the bride owning the plate.
Mursi are unsurpassed masters of scarification ⚡. The scars on their bodies symbolize social status and past merits. The scars are created by using a razor blade and camel thorn. To achieve a bulge, an ash or a fly larva is planted in the wound, which, among other things, eliminates all possible infections.

⁃ Праздник урожая, наполненный танцами и обрядами 💃
