🍃Excerpt from Ziyārat GhadIriyya describing virtues of Mawla al-Muwaḥḥidin, Ali (PBUH)

⚜️شَهِدْتَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ جَمِيعَ حُرُوبِهِ وَ مَغَازِيهِ، تَحْمِلُ الرَّايَةَ أَمَامَهُ، وَ تَضْرِبُ بِالسَّيْفِ قُدَّامَهُ

«You were with the Prophet (PBUH&HF) in all battles and expeditions. You carried the banner of Islam before him and struck with your sword before him.»

✨أَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ الْحَاجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَا يَسْتَوُونَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

“Do you consider the giving of water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Ḥarām as equal to the one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the way of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”

(Surah al-Tawbah, Verse 19)


❇️ Mawlānā Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH) stated:

⚜️«أَنا مُدَمِّرُ الفَرَاعِنَةِ بِسَيْفِي هٰذَا»⚜️

“I am the destroyer of the Pharaohs—with this very sword of Mine.”

🖋 Someone once asked the Noble Prophet (PBUH&HF) why the sword of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (PBUH) is called Dhū al-Fiqār. The Prophet replied:

⚜️ لِأَنَّهُ مَا ضُرِبَ بِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْ خَلْقِ اَللَّهِ إِلاَّ أَفْقَرَهُ مِنْ هَذِهِ اَلدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَ وُلْدِهِ وَ أَفْقَرَهُ فِي اَلْآخِرَةِ مِنَ  اَلْجَنَّة
“Because whenever he (Ali, PBUH) struck someone with it, he would sever them from their family in this world and cut off their hope from Paradise in the next.”

ا❁﷽❁ا

✨«وَ إِنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا»

“There is no city but We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment; that is written in the Book.”
(Surah al-Isrāʾ, verse 58)


❇️ (131) The Blessed Title: ⚜️al-Mubid/ المُبید⚜️


✍️ One of the blessed titles of our Master, Hazrat Baqiyyatallah al-Aʿẓam (may our souls be sacrificed for Him) is “al-Mubīd” — meaning the Destroyer, Annihilator, or Obliterator — which is among the Most Beautiful Names of Allah.

💠 The Noble Messenger (PBUH&HF) described our Master, Ḥujjat ibn al-Ḥasan (may Allah hasten His reappearance) in the Noble Sermon of Ghadir:

⚜️ مَعَاشِرَ النَّاسِ، إِنَّهُ مَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَ اللَّهُ مُهْلِكُهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ وَ مُمَلِّكُهَا الْإِمَامَ الْمَهْدِيَّ وَ اللَّهُ مُصْدِقُ وَعْدِهِ (1)

“O people! There is no city but that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will destroy it before the Resurrection — the Rise of the Qāʾim of the family of Muhammad (PBUH) — and will appoint Imam Mahdi (PBUH) as its ruler. And Allah shall fulfill His promise.”
(This statement refers to the meaning of verse 58 of Surah al-Isrāʾ.)

🖋 The title “Mubid” also belongs to Ḥaḍrat Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (PBUH), as He said:

⚜️ أَنَا مُجَدِّلُ الْأَبْطَالِ وَ قَاتِلُ الْفُرْسَانِ وَ مُبِيدُ مَنْ كَفَرَ بِالرَّحْمَن (2)

“I am the one who battles champions, slays warriors, and am the destroyer (Mubid) of the disbelievers in the Merciful Lord.”

🔹 In the texts of supplications (duʿās) and ziyārāt for our Master, Baqiyyatallah al-Aʿẓam (may our souls be sacrificed for Him), the title “al-Mubid” is mentioned:

⚜️ أینَ مُبِیدُ أَهْلِ الْفُسُوقِ وَالْعِصْیانِ وَالطُّغْیانِ (3)

“Where is the one who destroys the corrupt, the sinful, and the tyrants?”

⚜️ أيْنَ مُبِيدُ اَلْعُتَاةِ وَ اَلْمَرَدَةِ (4)

“Where is the obliterator of the rebellious and defiant ones?”

⚜️ السَّلامُ عَلَیکَ أیُّها الإمامُ المُبِیدُ لِأهلِ الفُسوقِ وَالطُّغیانِ (5)

“Peace be upon You, O my Imam — the One who annihilates the people of corruption and transgression.”

✨"فَبَلَغَ اللّٰهُ بِكُمْ أَشْرَفَ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمِينَ، وَأَعْلَىٰ مَنازِلِ المُقَرَّبِينَ، وَأَرْفَعَ دَرَجاتِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ"

May Allah elevate you to the most honored positions among the honored, the highest ranks of the near ones, and the loftiest degrees of the messengers

⚜️وَ الْعَنْ مَنْ غَصَبَ وَلِيَّكَ حَقَّهُ، وَ أَنْكَرَ عَهْدَهُ، وَ جَحَدَهُ بَعْدَ الْيَقِينِ، وَ الْإِقْرَارِ بِالْوِلايَةِ لَهُ يَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتَ لَهُ الدِّينَ

«And curse the one who usurped the right of Your Wali, denied his covenant, and rejected him after certainty—despite acknowledging his Wilāyah on the Day You perfected the religion for him.»

✨ وَ إِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَني آدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَ أَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَ لَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قالُوا بَلى شَهِدْنا أَنْ تَقُولُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هذا غافِلينَ

“And [remember] when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants, and made them testify regarding themselves, [saying], ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They said, ‘Yes, we bear witness’—lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, ‘Indeed, we were unaware of this.’”

(Surah al-A'rāf, Verse 172)


❇️ Mawlānā Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH) stated:

⚜️«أَنا الَّذِي أَقَامَنِي اللهُ فِي الأَظِلَّةِ، وَدَعاهُم إِلىٰ طاعَتِي، فَلَمَّا ظَهَرْتُ أَنْكَرُوا، فَقالَ اللهُ سُبحانَه: ﴿فَلَمَّا جاءَهُم ما عَرَفُوا كَفَرُوا بِهِ﴾»⚜️

I am the one whom Allah raised in the realm of shadows, and He called them to obey me. But when I appeared to them, they rejected me. So Allah, the Exalted, said: ‘But when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it.’”

🖋 The Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) said to Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (PBUH):

⚜️أَنْتَ الَّذِی احْتَجَ اللَّهُ بِکَ فِی ابْتِدَاءِ الْخَلْقِ حَیْثُ أَقَامَهُمْ أَشْبَاحاً فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: أَ لَسْتُ بِرَبِّکُمْ؟ قَالُوا بَلَی قَالَ: وَ مُحَمَّدٌ (صلی الله علیه و آله) رَسُولِی؟ قَالُوا: بَلَی. قَالَ: وَ عَلِیٌّ (علیه السلام) أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَ أَبَی الْخَلْقُ جَمِیعاً إِلَّا اسْتِکْبَاراً وَ عُتُوّاً عَنْ وَلَایَتِکَ إِلَّا نَفَرٌ قَلِیلٌ وَ هُمْ أَقَلُّ الْقَلِیلِ وَ هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْیَمِینِ

“You are the one through whom Allah made His argument against the people at the beginning of creation, when He brought them forth as shades and said to them: ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They replied: ‘Yes.’ He then said: ‘Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah?’ They said: ‘Yes!’ He said: ‘is Ali Amir al-Mu'minin?’
All of humanity rejected Your Wilāyah out of arrogance and hostility—except for a small group, a very small group. They, and only they, are the Companions of the Right (Ashāb al-Yamīn).”
