It is narrated from al-Mufaddal that the accursed Mansour Davaniqi ordered that the house of Ja'far ibn Muhammad (p) be set on fire:

▪️وَجَّهَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْمَنْصُورُ إِلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ- و هُوَ و الِيهِ عَلَى الْحَرَمَيْنِ: أَنْ أَحْرِقْ عَلى‏ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ دَارَهُ، فَأَلْقَى النَّارَ فِي دَارِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ،
▫️Abu Ja‘far al-Mansur ordered Hasan ibn Zayd — who was his governor over the Two Sanctuaries — to burn down the house of Ja‘far ibn Muhammad. So he cast fire into the house of Abu ‘Abdillah (p).

▪️فَأَخَذَتِ النَّارُ فِي الْبَابِ وَ الدِّهْلِيزِ، فَخَرَجَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَتَخَطَّى النَّارَ و يَمْشِي فِيهَا، و يَقُولُ:
▫️Then the fire spread through the door and the entrance hall. At that moment, Abu ‘Abdillah (p) came out, stepping over the flames and walking through them, while saying:

«أَنَا ابْنُ أَعْرَاقِ الثَّرى‏، أَنَا ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيم‏ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِه‏»
“... I am the son of Ibrahim, the Friend of God. May God’s blessings be upon him and his family.”

We offer our condolences and grief on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Sadiq al-Aimmah, Ja‘far ibn Muhammad (p), to Hadrat Wali al-Asr (aj), and to all the Shi‘a and lovers of the Imam.

➡️ The Holy Prophet (pbuh&hf), in part of a narration about the virtues of Imam Ali (p), said:

▪️أَنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ أَبَوَا هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ فَمَنْ عَرَفَنَا فَقَدْ عَرَفَ اللَّهَ وَ مَنْ أَنْكَرَنَا فَقَدْ أَنْكَرَ اللَّهَ ...
▫️I and Ali are the two fathers of this nation. So whoever knows us has known God, and whoever denies us has denied God.

▪️وَ مِنْ وُلْدِ الْحُسَيْنِ تِسْعَةٌ أَئِمَّةٌ طَاعَتُهُمْ طَاعَتِي وَ مَعْصِيَتُهُمْ مَعْصِيَتِي تَاسِعُهُمْ قَائِمُهُمْ وَ مَهْدِيُّهُمْ
▫️And from the children of Hussain, there are nine Imams whose obedience is my obedience and whose disobedience is my disobedience. The ninth of them is their Qa’im and their Mahdi.

➡️ One day, Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH) said to Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (PBUH):

▫️ نَظَرَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ ع فَقَالَ يَا عَبْرَةَ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ فَقَالَ أَنَا يَا أَبَتَاهْ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ يَا بُنَيَّ.

▪️Amir al-Mu’minin (p) looked at Imam Hussain (p) and said:

“O tear of every believer.”

Imam Hussain (p) said: “Me, dear father?”

He said: “Yes, my son.”

“O Saʿd, do you have among you a grave belonging to us?”
He said: I replied, “May I be sacrificed for You, do You mean the grave of Fatima, the daughter of Musa?”
He said: “Yes. Whoever visits Her while recognizing Her right, then Paradise is for him.”

🔅 إِنَّ لِلَّهِ حَرَماً وَ هُوَ مَكَّةُ وَ إِنَّ لِلرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ حَرَماً وَ هُوَ اَلْمَدِينَةُ وَ إِنَّ لِأَمِيرِ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ حَرَماً وَ هُوَ اَلْكُوفَةُ وَ إِنَّ لَنَا حَرَماً وَ هُوَ بَلْدَةُ قُمَّ وَ سَتُدْفَنُ فِيهَا اِمْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَوْلاَدِي تُسَمَّى فَاطِمَةَ فَمَنْ زَارَهَا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ اَلْجَنَّةُ

“Indeed, Allah has a sanctuary, and it is Mecca; and the Messenger of Allah (p) has a sanctuary, and it is Medina; and Ali ibn Abi Talib (p) has a sanctuary, and it is Kufa.

And indeed, We have a sanctuary, and it is the city of Qom. Soon, a woman from My descendants named Fatima will be buried there. Whoever visits Her, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.”

“Part One”

⚜️السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُخْتَ وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا عَمَّةَ وَلِيِّ اللَّه‏⚜️

➡️ It is narrated from Hadrat Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him) that he said to one of his companions:

▫️يَا سَعْدُ عِنْدَكُمْ لَنَا قَبْر

▫️قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ قَبْرُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ مُوسَى ع قَالَ نَعَم‏

▫️مَنْ زَارَهَا عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهَا فَلَهُ الْجَنَّة

🔰 Then Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him), while explaining the etiquette of visiting his noble sister, says:

▫️فَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ الْقَبْرَ فَقُمْ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهَا مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَ كَبِّرْ أَرْبَعاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً وَ سَبِّحْ ثَلَاثاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَ احْمَدِ اللَّهَ ثَلَاثاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً ثُمَّ قُل‏...

▶️ In one part of this ziyarah, we read:

▫️السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ وَلِيِّ اللَّه‏
▪️Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Friend of God.

➡️ Historical sources state that Hadrat Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) was born on the first day of the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah. Her noble father was Hadrat Imam Musa ibn Ja‘far (peace be upon him), and her noble mother was Lady Najmah Khatun, the honored mother of Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him).

▫️فاطِمَهُ الْمَعْصُومَهُ الْمَوْلُودَهُ فِی غُرَّهِ ذِی الْقَعْدَهِ سَنَهَ ١٧٣
📗Safinat al-Bihar, Shaykh Ali Namazi, vol. 8, p. 261

▶️ In this passage of the ziyarah, we address that noble lady by saying: Peace be upon you, O daughter of the “Wali of God.” In explaining the word “Wali,” it should be said that this word is used in the sense of one who possesses wilayah and holds the مقام of divine authority. As the Holy Prophet said in the sermon of Ghadir: «مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهَذَا عَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاه‏», meaning: Whoever I am his mawla, guardian, and master, then Ali is also his wali.

✒️ From this meaning, it is understood that the expression “Wali Allah” in its general sense applies to the sacred persons of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Therefore, when we read in this part of the ziyarah, “Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Wali of God,” the meaning is not limited only to her outward lineage to Imam Musa ibn Ja‘far (peace be upon him); rather, she is the daughter of all the Imams before Imam Musa al-Kazim (peace be upon him).

1️⃣ Some parts of her ziyarah also support this meaning, where we greet her as the daughter of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her), Lady Khadijah (peace be upon her), and also the daughter of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him), Imam Hasan, and Imam Hussain (peace be upon them).

2️⃣ Also, in a narration from Hadrat Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) regarding her, he says: سَتُدفَنُ فِیها اِمْرَأَهٌ مِنْ اَوْلادِي تُسَمّی فاطِمَهُ، ... a lady from among my descendants, named Fatimah, will be buried there.

▶️ Therefore, in this section of the ziyarah of Hadrat Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her), the pilgrim addresses that noble lady with the title “daughter of the Wali of God” and sends greetings and salutations upon her.

“Continuation of Part One”

▫️السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُخْتَ وَلِيِّ اللَّه‏
▪️Peace be upon you, O sister of the Wali of God.

➡️ In this part of the ziyarah, we greet that noble lady with the title “sister of the Wali of God.” As historical reports mention, Hadrat Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) and Hadrat Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) were both children of Lady Najmah Khatun, and in this respect, this bond of sisterhood and brotherhood appears in a special way between these two sacred souls.

◀️ Historical accounts state that after the imprisonment and martyrdom of their noble father, Hadrat Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) remained under the care and protection of her kind brother, Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him), until the time when Ma'mun the accursed forced him to move to Khurasan.

➡️ When Hadrat Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) was residing in Khurasan, he wrote a letter to his noble sister and sent it to Madinah through one of his servants. The Imam instructed him not to stop at any place so that he could deliver the letter to Madinah in the shortest possible time. Then he described to him the location of the house of Hadrat Musa ibn Ja‘far (peace be upon him), so that he would not need to ask anyone for directions.

🔰 The servant reached Madinah and delivered the Imam’s letter to Hadrat Ma'sumah (peace be upon her). After receiving her brother’s letter, Hadrat Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) set out on the journey...

❇️ One point that must be noted is that this relationship of sisterhood and brotherhood carries a meaning far beyond ordinary family ties and natural affection. As it has been said: لَا يُقَاسُ بِنَا أَحَد, no one is to be compared with us [the Ahl al-Bayt].

➡️ Hadrat Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) is Shams al-Shumus, and his noble sister, after receiving her brother’s letter, set out like a devoted moon, following that sun of wilayah.

▫️السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا عَمَّةَ وَلِيِّ اللَّه‏
▪️Peace be upon you, O aunt of the Wali of God.

➡️ In this part of the ziyarah, we address Hadrat Ma'sumah with the title “aunt of the Wali of God” and send our greetings upon her. She is not only the noble aunt of Hadrat Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him), but considering the expression “Wali Allah,” and as mentioned earlier that this title in its absolute sense applies to the sacred members of the Ahl al-Bayt, she may also be understood as the exalted aunt of the Imams after Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him).

▫️وَ فِي ابْنَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص لِي أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَة

▶️ The noble father of Ayatullah Mar'ashi Najafi, in search of the hidden grave of that noble lady, Umm al-A’immah wa al-Abrar, performed a tried spiritual recitation for forty nights. In a dream, he was honored with the presence of Imam al-Baqir or Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon them), and the Imam said to him:

«عَلَیْکَ بِکَرِیمَهِ اَهْلِ الْبَیْتِ»

✅ The sacred precinct and heavenly shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) is an outward sign of the hidden grave of that noble mother. It is a place of refuge and sanctuary for Ale-Mohammad, the Fatimiyyin, and the believers in this holy sanctuary; those who hold fast to حبل الله المتین and benefit from the light of knowledge and ma‘rifah.

▶️ Therefore, in this section of the ziyarah, the pilgrim addresses Hadrat Fatimah al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her) with the titles daughter of the Wali of God, sister of the Wali of God, and aunt of the Wali of God, and sends salutations and greetings upon that noble lady.

«اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلیَ فَاطِمَةَ المَعصُومَة وَ أبِیهَا الإمَام الکَاظِم وَ أخِیهَا الإمَام الرِّضَا المُرتَضَی وَ ابنَ أخِیهَا الإمَام الجَوَاد بِعَدَدِ مَا أحَاطَ بِهِ عِلمُک»

▫️ Imam al-Baqi', Imam al-Sadiq (p) stated:

🔅يَظْهَرُ الْعِلْمُ بِبَلْدَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا قُمُّ وَ تَصِيرُ مَعْدِناً لِلْعِلْمِ وَ الْفَضْلِ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَضْعَفٌ فِي الدِّينِ حَتَّى الْمُخَدَّرَاتُ فِي الْحِجَالِ...فَيُفِيضُ الْعِلْمُ مِنْهُ إِلَى سَائِرِ الْبِلَادِ فِي الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِب‏...

“Knowledge will appear in a city called Qom, and it will become a source of knowledge and virtue, to the extent that no one on earth will remain weak in religion—even women in seclusion behind curtains… Then knowledge will flow from it to all other lands, in the East and the West.”

And they will be guided to goodly speech, and they will be guided to the path of the Praiseworthy Allah.
(Surah al-Ḥajj, verse 24)

✨مَنْ كانَ يُريدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَميعاً إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ وَ الَّذينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئاتِ لَهُمْ عَذابٌ شَديدٌ وَ مَكْرُ أُولئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ

Whoever desires honor and power – then [let him know that] all honor and power belong to Allah. To Him ascends goodly speech, and righteous action He raises. But those who plot evil – for them is a severe punishment, and their plotting will perish.

▫️ Ja’far al-Sadiq (p) stated:

🔅 أَلَا إِنَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَبْوَابٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْهَا إِلَى قُمَّ تُقْبَضُ فِيهَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ وُلْدِي اسْمُهَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُوسَى وَ تُدْخَلُ بِشَفَاعَتِهَا شِيعَتِي الْجَنَّةَ بِأَجْمَعِهِمْ

“Be aware that Paradise has eight gates; three of them lead to Qom. A woman from My descendants, named Fatima Masumeh (p), will pass away there, and through Her intercession, all of My Shia will enter Paradise altogether.”

▫️ Hazrat Shams al-Shumūs, Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (p), states:

🔅 مَنْ زارَ الْمَعْصُومَةَ بِقُمْ کَمَنْ زارَني

“Whoever visits Lady Fatima Masumeh (p) in Qom is like one who has visited Me.”
