⚜️ Lady Fatimah Masumah peace be upon her; “Bab al-Hawa’ij”
🔰 Imam Musa ibn Ja‘far (p) is known by the title “Bab al-Hawa’ij.” As Allamah Majlisi narrates from the book al-Irshad by Shaykh al-Mufid: وَ َ دُفِنَ بِبَغْدَاد... فَصَارَتْ بَابَ الْحَوَائِج (1). It has also been mentioned in historical reports that Lady Fatimah Masumah (p) is known as “Karimah of the Ahl al-Bayt” (2). In explaining the word “karim,” it has been said: one who is generous, whose giving is abundant and never-ending (3).
▶️ After receiving the letter from her noble brother, she set out on a journey to meet him. However, it was not destined for her to see her brother, and in the end, she passed away in the sorrow of separation from him.

⚜️السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ عَرَّفَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَ حَشَرَنَا فِي زُمْرَتِكُمْ
وَ أَوْرَدَنَا حَوْضَ نَبِيِّكُمْ وَ سَقَانَا بِكَأْسِ جَدِّكُمْ مِنْ يَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ
أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُرِيَنَا فِيكُمُ السُّرُورَ وَ الْفَرَجَ
➡️ In this part of the ziyarah, addressing Lady Fatima Masuma, peace be upon her, we ask God to grant us knowledge and recognition of her and of all the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. We also ask Him to let us drink from the Pool of Kawthar, by the hand of its cupbearer, Mawla Ali ibn Abi Talib (p).
After that, we ask Him to show us joy and relief concerning the Ahl al-Bayt.
⚜️فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ
⚜️This radiant light is in houses which God has permitted to be raised, and in which His name is remembered. In them, He is glorified morning and evening.
📗Surah al-Nur, verse 36
▶️ The holy and heavenly sanctuary of Lady Fatima Masuma, peace be upon her, is a mine and treasure of the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt for believing men and women who journey beneath the sky of Razavi wilayah. She is the noble lady by whose permission the thirsty seekers of the sanctuary of wilayah and luminous knowledge are given to drink, and through whom they are prepared for a higher spiritual journey and a new vision in the sanctuary of Mashhad.
➡️ A holy sanctuary whose virtue Imam Ridha (p) described regarding the ziyarah of his honored sister, saying:
▫️مَنْ زارَها عارِفاً بِحَقِّها فَلَهُ الْجَنَّهُ
📗Mustadrak al-Wasa’il, Muhaddith Qummi, vol. 10, p. 368
▫️عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ع قَالَ: ... عُشُّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مَأْوَى شِيعَتِهِم
📗Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 57, p. 214
▶️ It has been narrated from Imam Musa al-Kazim (p) that her heavenly sanctuary is the nest of the family of Mohammad (p). As it has been said regarding the meaning of the word “ʿush”: بيت الطَّائر; meaning the bird’s nest, the place where a bird finds shelter, dwelling, and peace. It is a nest where the believers of the family of Mohammad receive the light of knowledge.
➡️ It is mentioned in the narration that the holy sanctuary of Lady Fatima Masuma is a place where the luminous knowledge and maʿrifah of the Ahl al-Bayt are spread.
▫️تَصِيرُ مَعْدِناً لِلْعِلْمِ وَ الْفَضْل...فَيُفِيضُ الْعِلْمُ مِنْهُ إِلَى سَائِرِ الْبِلَادِ...
▪️...and that place will become a center of knowledge and virtue... then knowledge will flow from there to other lands...
📗Bihar al-Anwar, Allamah Majlisi, vol. 57, p. 213
◀️ فَيُفِيضُ الْعِلْمُ مِنْهُ إِلَى سَائِرِ الْبِلَادِ؛ then knowledge flows from that holy sanctuary, from that mine of knowledge, to other lands. In Du’a al-ʿAhd, we recite: وَٱعْمُرِ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِهِ بِلادَكَ وَأَحْيِ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ... وَيُحِقُّ ٱلْحَقَّ. It is that luminous knowledge and maʿrifah through which hearts are revived. This meaning reveals the manifestation of the light of Imamate and wilayah of Hazrat Baqiyyatullah al-Aʿzam (aj) upon the hearts of the believers, a light that flows from the sanctuary of Fatimi purity.
➡️ As it has been said, whoever visits her عارِفاً بِحَقِّها, with true recognition of her right, will be in Paradise; and this is the very joy and relief: أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُرِيَنَا فِيكُمُ السُّرُورَ وَ الْفَرَجَ ...
▶️ How beautifully Imam Musa ibn Jaʿfar (p) said:
▫️ طُوبَى لِشِيعَتِنَا الْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِحَبْلِنَا فِي غَيْبَةِ قَائِمِنَا ... فَطُوبَى لَهُمْ ثُمَّ طُوبَى لَهُمْ وَ هُمْ وَ اللَّهِ مَعَنَا فِي دَرَجَاتِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
▪️Blessed are our Shia who hold firmly to our rope during the occultation of our Qa’im... So blessed are they, then blessed are they. By God, on the Day of Judgment they will be with us and in our ranks.

▫️ It is narrated from the son of Āyatullāh Mahmoud Marashi Najafi that his father was supplicating and having Twassul to find the location of the grave of the Lady Fatimah (p). One night, he saw the Imam (p) in a dream who said to him:
🔅علیک بکریمة اهل البیت (علیهم السلام)
“Visit the Karīmah of Ahl al-Bayt (p).”
Āyatullāh Marʿashī assumed that the intent was Fatimah al-Zahra (p), but the Imam (p) clarified:
➖مرادي من کریمة اهل البیت قبر السیدة فاطمة المعصومة في قمّ...

“Part Three and Final Part”
⚜️يَا فَاطِمَةُ اشْفَعِي لِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَإِنَّ لَكِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ شَأْناً مِنَ الشَّأْن
➡️ In this section of the Ziyarah of Lady Fatima Masuma (p), we address her and say: O Fatima, intercede for me in Paradise, for indeed you have a high rank and position before God.
▶️ The word “shafa‘ah” comes from the root “sh-f-ʿ,” and originally means “to pair” or “to join”; that is, to attach one thing to another and make it accompany it (1). In the terminology of narrations, intercession also means the forgiveness of sins, permission to enter Paradise, and the elevation of one’s rank and station (2).

🖋 Regarding intercession, its importance, and who is granted permission to intercede, many verses have come in the Holy Qur’an. Here, two examples are mentioned:
▫️لَا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا
▪️They do not possess the power of intercession, except the one who has taken a covenant with the Most Merciful.
📗Surah Maryam, verse 87
▫️مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ
▪️Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission?!
📗Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 255
➡️ From the meaning of the above verses, it becomes clear that no one has permission to intercede — مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ — unless God grants them permission.
⚜️ According to the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), the permission of intercession in its absolute form is in the hands of the Lady who intercedes on the Day of Recompense, the Mother of the Imams and the righteous, Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
▫️لِفَاطِمَةَ وَقْفَةٌ عَلَى بَابِ جَهَنَّمَ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَة...
▪️For Fatima, there is a station beside the gate of Hell...
▫️كُتِبَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مُؤْمِنٍ أَوْ كَافِر
▪️Between the eyes of every person, it will be written whether he is a believer or a disbeliever.
▫️فَيُؤْمَرُ بِمُحِبٍّ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ إِلَى النَّارِ فَتَقْرَأُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ مُحِبّا
▪️Then the command will be given for one of the lovers, whose sins have become many, to be taken toward the Fire.
▪️Then Lady Fatima will read between his eyes and see that it is written: “lover.”
▫️فَتَقُولُ إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي سَمَّيْتَنِي فَاطِمَةَ وَ فَطَمْتَ بِي مَنْ تَوَلَّانِي وَ تَوَلَّى ذُرِّيَّتِي مِنَ النَّار
▪️She will say: My God and my Master! You named me “Fatima,” and through me, You separated from the Fire whoever accepted my wilayah and the wilayah of my descendants.
▫️فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ صَدَقْتِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ إِنِّي سَمَّيْتُكِ فَاطِمَةَ وَ فَطَمْتُ بِكِ مَنْ أَحَبَّكِ وَ تَوَلَّاكِ وَ أَحَبَّ ذُرِّيَّتَكِ وَ تَوَلَّاهُمْ مِنَ النَّار
▪️Then God, the Mighty and Majestic, will say:
You have spoken the truth, O Fatima. I named you “Fatima,” and through you, I separated from the Fire whoever loved you and accepted your wilayah, and whoever loved your descendants and accepted their wilayah.
▫️إِنَّمَا أَمَرْتُ بِعَبْدِي هَذَا إِلَى النَّارِ لِتَشْفَعِي فِيهِ فَأُشَفِّعَكِ لِيَتَبَيَّنَ لِمَلَائِكَتِي وَ أَنْبِيَائِي وَ رُسُلِي وَ أَهْلِ الْمَوْقِفِ مَوْقِفُكِ مِنِّي وَ مَكَانَتُكِ عِنْدِي
▪️I only commanded that this servant of Mine be taken toward the Fire so that you may intercede for him, and I may accept your intercession; so that My angels, My prophets, My messengers, and the people of the gathering may see your position with Me and your rank before Me.

▶️ Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her), who shares the same name as her noble grandmother, Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) (1), possesses a station of intercession from her mother. It has been narrated that through the blessing of her intercession, all the Shia will enter Paradise.
📗(1) إِنِّي سَمَّيْتُ ابْنَتِي فَاطِمَةَ لِأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَطَمَهَا وَ فَطَمَ مَنْ أَحَبَّهَا مِنَ النَّارِ, Biḥār al-Anwār by Allamah Majlisi, vol. 43, p. 12
▫️عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: ... امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ وُلْدِي اسْمُهَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُوسَى وَ تُدْخَلُ بِشَفَاعَتِهَا شِيعَتِي الْجَنَّةَ بِأَجْمَعِهِمْ.

📗 Introduction to the Book Baṣāʾir al-Darajāt by the Late Ṣaffār al-Qummī
1️⃣ Title of the Book
Baṣāʾir al-Darajāt is the name recorded in books of rijāl and biographical works. However, in all surviving manuscript copies, the full title appears as: Baṣāʾir al-Darajāt fī ʿUlūm Āl Muḥammad wa mā khaṣṣahum Allāh Taʿālā bih.
Likewise, in the printed edition first published in Tabriz, this full title appeared on the cover. In a later edition published in 1404 AH by the Library of Ayatollah Marʿashī in Qom, the book was titled: Baṣāʾir al-Darajāt fī Faḍāʾil Āl Muḥammad (p).
2️⃣ Subject of the Book
This book contains many chapters, each including narrations that present a complete course of Imamology according to the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (p).
With the exception of the opening portion—which discusses the importance of knowledge and the nobility of the scholar—the remainder of the book centers around recognizing the Imams (p), their virtues, and their merits.
3️⃣ Authenticity and Status
Baṣāʾir al-Darajāt is one of the ancient and reliable Shiʿi books. From the time of its authorship until today, it has continually received the attention of scholars, jurists, and leading Shiʿi authorities. They relied upon many of its narrations and cited them in their own works, such as:
* Muhammad ibn Ya’qub al-Kulayni in al-Kāfī
* Shaykh al-Hurr al-’Amili in Wasāʾil al-Shīʿah
* Allamah al-Majlisi in Biḥār al-Anwār

✨ The majority of the book concerns the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt (p), including these key subjects:

They are described as the treasurer of knowledge, vessels of divine knowledge, heirs of the prophets’ knowledge, the most knowledgeable of people, and those firmly rooted in knowledge.
2. The Scope of Their Knowledge
They possess knowledge of the Book, the interpretation of the Qur’an, the Greatest Name of Allah, all languages [of humans, jinn, and other creatures], what has been and what will be, appointed deaths and afflictions, and all that is in the heavens and the earth.
3. Sources of Their Knowledge
They receive their knowledge through the teaching of the Prophet (p), the foundations of knowledge, the books of the prophets, the Book of Ali ibn Abi Talib (p), and the Muṣḥaf of Fatimah al-Zahra (p).

Whenever They wish, They know; knowledge is expanded and contracted for Them, and Their knowledge increases.

Broadly speaking, it addresses the unique reality of the Ahl al-Bayt (p) and Their Shiʿah, including topics such as their primordial nature (ṭīnah), pillars of light established for Them, benefiting from that light throughout life, and Their witnessing of the deeds of servants in the East and West.
It also mentions extraordinary abilities granted to the Ahl al-Bayt, such as reviving the dead and curing severe illnesses—including healing the blind and those afflicted with leprosy.
5️⃣ About the Author
Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Saffar al-Qummi was a distinguished jurist and a trustworthy traditionist who preserved many narrations for later generations in the noble books of hadith. He was among the students and companions of Imam Hasan al-Askari (p).
He passed away in 290 AH, during the Minor Occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (aj). His place of death is reported as Qom, and it is considered possible that he was buried near the sacred shrine of Shrine of Lady Fatima Masumeh (p)

⚜️وَ رَوَى زِيَادُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فَقُلْتُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ عِيدٌ غَيْرُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ اَلْفِطْرِ وَ اَلْأَضْحَى قَالَ نَعَمْ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي نَصَبَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ
▫️It has been narrated from Ziyad ibn Muhammad that he said, “I went to the presence of Abi 'Abdillah [Ja'far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq] (p) and said to him, “Do the Muslims have an 'Eid other than the day of Jumu'ah and al-Fitr and al-Adhha?” The Imam (p) replied to me, “Yes, the day which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh&hf) appointed Amir Al-Mu’minin (p) [as his successor after him].”

“Introduction”
✒️ Shaykh Abbas Qummi, in the noble book Mafatih al-Jinan, in the chapter on the ziyarat of Amir al-Mu'minin (p), writes about the second ziyarat, Ziyarat Aminullah:
▫️The second ziyarat is the well-known Ziyarat Aminullah, which is of the highest reliability and has been narrated in all books of ziyarat and masabih.
▪️Allama Majlisi (may God have mercy on him) said: This ziyarat is among the best ziyarat in both its text and chain of narration, and one should be careful to recite it in all the shrines of the Imams. Regarding this ziyarat, it has been narrated through reliable chains from Jabir, from Imam Baqir (PBUH):
▫️Hazrat Zayn al-Abidin (p) came to visit Amir al-Mu'minin (p). He stood beside his grave, wept, and said:
⚜️ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَا أَمِینَ اللّٰهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ...
▫️Then Imam Baqir (p) said: Whoever among our Shia recites this ziyarat and supplication beside the grave of Amir al-Mu'minin (PBUH), or beside the grave of one of the Imams (p), God, the Exalted, will surely raise this ziyarat and supplication of his in a letter of light, place the seal of Hazrat Mohammad (pbuh&hf) upon it, and keep it preserved in this form until it is handed to the Qa'im of the family of Mohammad (ajtf). Then he will receive its owner with glad tidings, greetings, and honor, God willing.
▪️The author says: This noble ziyarat is counted both among the general ziyarat, and among the special ziyarat of the Day of Ghadir, and also among the comprehensive ziyarat, which is recited in all the sacred shrines of the Imams.
🔰 During the blessed days of the luminous birth anniversary of Hazrat Sultan, Abal-Hasan, Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha al-Murtadha (p), join us as we explain selected sections of this noble ziyarat.
