✨«يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ آمِنُوا بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا»
(Surah An-Nisa, verse 47)
✨ «وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالًا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ»

❇️ (114) The Blessed Title: ⚜️Al-Tāmis/ الطامس⚜️
✍️ One of the blessed titles of Our Master, Baqiyyatullah Al-A‘zam (May our souls be sacrificed for Him), is “Al-Tamis”—the One who obliterates darkness of enemies, their falsehood, and their traces and branches (May Allah’s curse be upon them all).
طمس الشئ : محاه وأهلكه (1)
✅ Verse 47 of Surah An-Nisa describes the destruction of the army of Sufyani during the event of Khasf al-Bayda (the swallowing of the earth), referring to it as a punishment of "Tams Wajh" [which indicates a form of transformation or disfigurement]. This verse calls upon people to believe in our Master, Al-Hujjah ibn Al-Hassan (May our souls be sacrificed for Him) before that event occurs:
▫️فَيَنْزِلُ أَمِيرُ جَيْشِ السُّفْيَانِيِّ الْبَيْدَاءَ .. فَيَخْسِفُ بِهِمْ فَلَا يُفْلِتُ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ يُحَوِّلُ اللَّهُ وُجُوهَهُمْ إِلَى أَقْفِيَتِهِمْ وَ هُمْ مِنْ كَلْبٍ وَ فِيهِمْ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ «يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ آمِنُوا بِما نَزَّلْنا مُصَدِّقاً لِما مَعَكُمْ يعني القائم (عليه السلام) مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَطْمِسَ وُجُوهاً فَنَرُدَّها عَلى أَدْبارِها..» (2)
"The commander of Sufyani’s army will descend upon the desert of Bayda, and then… the earth will swallow them, and none will survive except a few, whom Allah will turn their faces backward [disfiguring them]. They will be from the tribe of Kalb, and this verse was revealed concerning them: ‘O you who were given the Book, believe in what We have revealed, confirming what is with you—meaning, believe in Imam Al-Qa’im (Peace be upon Him)—before We efface faces and turn them backward…’" (Surah An-Nisa, verse 47).
✅ Verse 88 of Surah Yunus also mentions the punishment of "Tams" upon wealth and the hardening of hearts, (3) which in its apparent meaning refers to the accursed Pharaoh, and in its deeper interpretation (Batin), refers to the stripping of wealth, humiliation, and destruction of the tyrants, rebels, and enemies of Allah in the End Times. This has also been referenced in one of the supplications attributed to our Master, Sahib al-Amr wa al-Zaman (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance), known as Du'a Alawi Misri. (3)
