Together with NDPeeps as well as SBS Transit and SMRT, we’ve rolled out NDP-themed décor such as cabin wraps, station murals and posters featuring Singapore’s well-loved mascots like August, Singa, Sharity, Nila, Becky Bunny and Captain Green in iconic local settings like HDB neighbourhoods and hawker centres. ❤️🤍 Some posters also showcase NDP greetings and popular scenes from the annual parade such as the march past!

Look out for these designs at selected MRT stations and trains plying each of the 6 rail lines from now till 25 Aug 2024! 🚆

#Reminder All new diesel car and taxi registrations will no longer be allowed from 1 Jan 2025. 🚫🚗

From 2030, these registrations must be of cleaner-energy models to support Singapore’s vision for all vehicles to run on cleaner energy by 2040. 🌱

Diesel cars registered before 1 Jan 2025 can renew their #COE, but will be subject to higher road taxes as a disincentive to discourage renewal.

🚔 Enforcement operations were carried out against overloaded vehicles over the past two weeks, and 22 vehicles were caught. 🚛

Overloaded vehicles pose a risk for road users 🚗, especially when goods 📦 fall off or spill onto the road, and cause road damage. 🛤️

We urge motorists not to overload their vehicles or they may face fines of up to $1,000 💸 and/or imprisonment for up to three months. These penalties can be doubled for repeat offenders.
🛎 #OBUUpdates Got the OBU installed in your vehicle? From 15 July, the OBU will alert you to more speed camera zones as you drive!

In addition to fixed speed cameras alerts, you will now receive notifications when approaching police speed laser cameras and red light cameras. The OBU will also remind you of the speed limit on the road you are driving on.

🚘🚚 We hope this will encourage safer driving for all motorists. #DriveSafeStaySafe
We’ve completed our very first #FriendlyStreets pilot at Ang Mo Kio St 31!  🎊

Look out for pedestrian-friendly features such as reduced traffic speed limits, raised zebra crossings, road markings and kerbless crossings! Residents can now enjoy safer and more convenient walking or cycling journeys to key amenities in the area! 🚶🏼🚲

Works on the other Friendly Streets pilot locations are ongoing and will be progressively completed from Q3 2024. By 2030, Friendly Streets will be expanded to all towns! 🌞🏡 Stay tuned!
