Life always throws you a #curveball 😭

I may have #torn my #achilliestendon and been hobbling around back and forth from the Dr to an #imaging place to be told they can't scan or #xray (was literally hopping and using the building walls for support, while men and onlookers just watched 🤬). I've now got a ultrasound at 2pm today.

So I drove home and will get a daughter to drive me back into town.

Meanwhile, I've got to cater for my 3rd daughter's 21st birthday party tomorrow 😳

At least I found another fantastic use for my @9roundpakenham #handwraps to hold the #icepack onto my #calfmuscle

Very upset if I can't train again either 😭😭😭😭😭
Thankfully, I didn't snap my #achillies or any #tendons, but have bruised my #calfmuscle and will be out of action for 3 to 4 weeks 😭

BUT at least this minor #injury fixed my #ankle ache 😁👍🏼 (you win some and you lose some)!

My #muscleinjury #update ;

Since last Friday's #injury (15 July 2022 - see older Post), I've been waking up struggling to take a step out of bed easily.

I've been #walking or #limping around. The pain is still in the back of the #calfmuscle but this morning I've noticed a #lovely #yellow tinge around the ankle area (the scars are from surgery) and the front of my #shin has a new #green #purple and yellow #artwork ( #bruise ) that's formed over night.

Any #physiotherapists can recommend some exercises or pain relief (besides #painkillers )? Should I be off it entirely and use crutches? #physio

(Tomorrow night will be fun, as going out to dinner, and wearing somewhat #heels 👠😳 - #blackstockings will also be required ) !
