π»Built in 1896 by the βFinnish Light Steamship Companyβ of the Petersburg entrepreneur R. K. von Hartmann, the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin Funicular was originally built in preparation for the All-Russian Industrial and Art Exhibition of that year. The original funicular operated until the 1920s.
π»In September of this year, the beloved landmark was recreated, offering a chance to experience this historical mode of transportation once again.
