The vacuum tests of #ProgressMS22 has begun. The cargo ship will spend in the vacuum chamber six days. The launch is scheduled for February 2023.
#ProgressMS22 passed the vacuum tests. Now it will be mothballed until the End of the New Year holiday season.
#ProgressMS22 which is scheduled to fly to the ISS on February 9, is being fueled on Baikonur on Pad 31.
Soyuz 2.1a with #ProgressMS22 cargo ship has been rolled out this morning and is now vertical on Pad 31 on Baikonur. The launch is scheduled for February 9, at 06:15 UTC.
#ProgressMS20 left the ISS. The deorbit burn is scheduled for 08:04 UTC, the cargo ship will enter the Earth’s atmosphere and burn up over the Pacific Ocean. It’s place on the Zvezda module will be taken by #ProgressMS22, which will be launched on February 9.
Soyuz 2.1a with #ProgressMS22 cargo ship is ready for launch on Pad 31 of Baikonur cosmodrome. The launch is scheduled for 06:15 UTC. Here is the technical coverage (without speakers): https://www.youtube.com/live/B1l8Z17gwKk
#ProgressMS22 will fly to the ISS by the classic 2-days rendezvous profile. On February 11, at 08:47 UTC it will dock to the Zvezda docking port, which has been left two days ago by Progress MS-20. If the docking is successful, Progress MS-21, another Russian cargo ship currently docked to the ISS, will undock from the Poisk module to clear the room for the automatic docking of Soyuz MS-23. This is why the successful launch and docking of #ProgressMS22 is so important: if something goes not by the plan, the whole “space Tetris” will be at risk.
The #ISS orbit correction maneuver was performed this morning at 04:20 UTC in preparation for the arrival of Soyuz MS-23 and departure of Soyuz MS-22. The #ProgressMS22 engines fired for 958,32 sec, the orbit altitude was increased for 3,2 km.
The ISS performed a space debris avoidance maneuver half an hour ago. At 12:42 UTC, the engines of #ProgressMS22 burned for 375,8 seconds, the station’s orbit altitude has been changed to 418,59 km above the Earth.
On 11:54 UTC today, the ISS performed another space debris avoidance maneuver. #ProgressMS22 engines fired for 135 sec with an impulse 0.3 m/s. The station's orbit altitude was increased up to 419 km above the Earth.
The ISS orbit correction was performed tonight at 00:31 UTC to provide ballistic conditions for the arriving of #ProgressMS23 in May. The engines of #ProgressMS22 fired for 716,8 sec, the station's orbit was increased to 417,12 km above the Earth.
The ISS orbit correction was performed today at 12:02 UTC using the engines of #ProgressMS22. The engines fired for 301.85 sec with an impulse of 0.46 m/s. The orbit altitude was increased for 790 m. The correction was performed in preparation for the arrival of #SoyuzMS24.
A space debris avoidance maneuver was performed today at 02:03 UTC using the #ProgressMS22 engines. The engines fired for 196 sec, with an impulse of 0,3 m/s. The station’s orbit altitude was increased by 0,5 km.
#ProgressMS22 cargo ship departed form the ISS yesterday at 23:50 UTC and burned up over the Pacific Ocean.
