iOS 12.3.1 vs. 13 Beta 1
iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
🗣 So this is Beta 1, and you should not put that much into a speed test at this early point. But you can get a good indication how much work is ahead for Apple to bring a beta up to par with a release version. However Apple is off to a VERY good start with Beta 1. Not much sign of that 2 x app launching speed, but it is on par or very close to that of iOS 12.3.1. Geekbench are slower on the 6s and 7, but not by much, however faster on the iPhone 8/X. All other benchmark tests score better when running on iOS 13. So it really does look like a fantastic beta 1. Looking forward to testing the next 10-11 versions before its fall release.

iOS 12.3.1 vs. 12.4 Beta 4
iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
🗣 Performance of Beta 4 is very equal to that of Beta 3. UI behaviour is about the same, just as smooth as iOS 12.3.1 benchmark tests are in most cases a tie between both versions or atleast very close in the results. With some hope it looks like iOS 12.4 will be more of the same with no speed loss vs that of iOS 12.3.1.

iOS 12.3.1 vs. iOS 13 Beta 2
iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
🗣 We are for sure still not seeing any of the performance improvements that was mentioned during the WWDC Keynote. Yes this is still a Beta and no we should not expect any launch speed improvements on non iOS 13 updated 3rd party, but you would think that Apple would let it loose on their own apps right? Does not look like it. We are still seeing on par launch speeds compared to that of iOS 12.3.1. I think that is quite disappointing, even for a Beta 2. Fearing that this could be the reality distortion field that strikes again. Lets see for future releases.

🗣 Still no real change in iOS 12.4 Beta 5 the performance of Beta 5 is very equal to that of Beta 4. iOS 12.3.1 vs. iOS 13 Public Beta 1
iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
🗣 As the Public Beta 1 release is the same as developer beta 2 version the below conclusion still stands.
We are for sure not seeing any of the performance improvements that was mentioned during the WWDC Keynote: Yes this is a Beta and no we should not expect any launch speed improvements on non iOS 13 updated 3rd party apps, but you would think that Apple would let it loose on their own apps right? Does not look like it. We are still seeing on par launch speeds compared to that of iOS 12. 3. 1. I think that is quite disappointing, even for a Public Beta 1: Fearing that this could be the reality distortion field that strikes again. Lets see for future releases.

iOS 12.3.1 vs. iOS 13 Beta 3
iPhone 6s, iPhone 8
🗣 Still it looks like the same performance as iOS 12.3.1, no visible sign of the twice as fast app launch. Overall smoothness of the UI is still very good, and when you look at the benchmark tests they come out more or less the same. Both single core and multi core are slower on iOS 13 Beta 3 in Geekbench for the 6S, but multicore faster on iPhone 8. Antutu HTML 5 test seems to have gotten quite the boost in Beta 3.

iOS 12.3.1 vs. iOS 13 Beta 3 Re-release.
iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 8
🗣 Benchmark tests are still very close when it comes to Geekbench. However iOS 13 loses out in all except for iPhone 8 Multicore. All others fall short altough not by very much. In the Antutu HTML5 test though iOS 13 is blazing fast on all devices. So Apple has stepped out here for sure for iOS 13. But worst of all, still absolutely no sign of the increased app launch speed. Yes it is still a Beta but we are 3.5 Beta versions in to the program, and you should start seeing it. So step up Apple.
I know it is not the final version, and it may not kick in before the final but I am seriously beginning to doubt that we will ever see it.

iOS 12.3.1 vs. 12.4 Beta 7
iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
🗣 Performance of iOS 12.4 Beta 7 / GM is more or less still the same as that of iOS 12.3.1 when it comes to launching apps, and overall smoothness. However it is slower on all devices when it comes to the Geekbench test, not by much but consistently slower. Antutu HTML5 test however is faster on all devices except for the iPhone 8.
Now only one more test to do when the final drops and with some luck these abnormalities has been fixed.

🗣 Good news, seems like Apple is trying to fix 3DTouch aka Force Touch, still not there yet, but definitely a step in the right direction.
