🔵 Practise + -ing

❌ غلط:
❌ You must practise to speak English.

✅ صحیح:
✔️ You must practise speaking English.

✅ فعل Practice هم ce وهم با se درست است

🛑 Misuse of the infinitive: Use the #gerund (not the #infinitive) after certain verbs.

🔴 Remember + -ing
🔴 به یاد آوردن، به خاطر آوردن، یاد آمدن

❌ غلط:
❌ I don't remember #to_have seen him.

✅ صحیح:
✔️ I don't remember #seeing him.
✔️ I don't remember #having seen him.


🔵 Risk + -ing
🔵 ریسک کردن، خطر کردن،به خطر انداختن

❌ غلط:
❌ We couldn't risk #to_leave him alone.

✅ صحیح:
✔️ We couldn't risk #leaving him alone.

🔴 Stop + -ing
🔴 متوقف کردن/شدن، نگه داشتن، توقف کردن، ایستادن، دست کشیدن

❎ غلط:
❌ The wind has almost stopped #to_blow.

✅ صحیح:
✔️ The wind has almost stopped #blowing.

🛑 Misuse of the infinitive: Use the #gerund (not the #infinitive) after certain adjectives.

🔵 Busy + -ing
🔵  مشغول کردن یا بودن

❌ غلط:
❌ He was busy #to_revise the exams.

✅ صحیح:
✔️ He was busy #revising for the exams.


🔵 (be) Worth + -ing
🔵 ارزش (داشتن)، ارزشمند (بودن)، قابل (بودن)

❌ غلط:
❌ Is today's film worth #to_see?

✅ صحیح:
✔️ Is today's film worth #seeing?

🔴 Have difficulty in + -ing
🔴  در انجام کاری مشکل/اشکال/دشواری داشتن

❌ غلط:
❌ She has no difficulty #to_do it.

✅ صحیح:
✅️ She has no difficulty in #doing it.



🔵️ Have the pleasure of + -ing
🔵️ افتخار ... را داشتن

❌ غلط:
❌ I had the pleasure #to_meet him.

✅ صحیح:
✅️  I had the pleasure of #meeting him.

🔴️ It's no use + -ing
🔴️ فایده ای نداشتن، بی فایده بودن

❌ غلط:
❌ It's no use #to_cry like a baby.

✅ صحیح:
✅️ It's no use #crying like a baby.


🔵️ It's no good + -ing
🔵 خوب نبودن؛ بی فایده بودن، نتیجه ای نداشتن؛ به درد نخوردن

❌ غلط:
❌ It's no good #to_get angry.

✅ صحیح:
✅️  It's no good #getting angry.


🔴️ Look forward to + -ing
🔴️ بی صبرانه منتظر (چیزی) بودن، بی صبرانه منتظر بودن که...، چشم به ‌راه بودن، مشتاق بودن

❌ غلط:
❌ I look forward to #see him soon.

✅ صحیح:
✅ I look forward to #seeing him soon.


🔵 There is no harm in + -ing
🔵 ضرری نداره، عیبی ندارد

❌ غلط:
❌ There's no harm #to_visit her now.

✅ صحیح:
✅️  There's no harm in #visiting her now.


🔴️ Take an exam, not give an exam.➡️ (student, pupil)

❌ غلط:
❌ The pupil gave his exam.

✅ صحیح:
✅️ The pupil took his exam.


💥️ Note: 💥 ➡️ The teacher gives or sets the exam. The student takes the exam or sits the exam.

💥️ Take/sit an exam
💥 (امتحان دادن)

💥 Give/set an exam
💥 (امتحان گرفتن)


🔵 To be busy, not to have work.
🔵️ گرفتار بودن، مشغول بودن

❌ غلط:
❌ I have much work this morning.

✅ صحیح:

❎️ امروز صبح خیلی گرفتارم.

💥 به جای #very_busy می تونیم بگیم:💥

✅️ I have a lot of work to do this morning.
