In Hong Kong crackdown, police repeatedly broke their own rules — and faced no consequences
By the Washington Post
"A review of more than 100 pages of police guidelines and training manuals obtained by The Washington Post details these protocols surrounding use of force. The guidelines, however, were often ignored by police, who have misused chemical agents and used excessive force against protesters not resisting, according to experts in policing who examined dozens of incidents in consultation with Post journalists and in comparison with the police protocols."

Once again today the police suddenly gave only 30 minutes for thousands of protesters to leave the march.
Let’s be reminded that on Jul21, 2019, it took the police 39 minutes to arrive Yuen Long station despite countless calls to 999 screaming for help.

There has been people camping outside the British Consulate in Hong Kong in the last few months. They requested the UK government to provide BNO holders (Hong Kongers who born before 1997) the right of abode in the UK. It has been a peaceful silent sit-in since.
Today (Jan 11th), the riot police decided to go into the scene and clear the site. During the operation, it is believed the riot police has breach the boundary of the British Consulate and arrested the people who were sitting in.
This is still a developing story and here are a few things we hear so far:
1. The protestors were mainly sat inside the UK Consulate boundary.
2. The police claims that it is not the UK boundary unless you INTO the building.
3. UK MP Luke de Pulford is following up on this issue now:

Escape before the closure! At 2 am in the morning, Hubei Wuhan officially announced that the city would be closed at 10 am. At that time, the city's traffic would be suspended. Without special reasons, citizens are not allowed to leave Wuhan, and the airport and train station will be temporarily closed from the Han corridor. The city's tide of fleeing broke out immediately, and a large number of people rushed to the high-speed rail station to buy tickets, and rushed out of the dangerous city before the dead line at 10:00am. Wuhan Xiehe Hospital was still crowded with patients in the early hours of the morning, and it was clearly overwhelming. Medical examination reports showing patients with "viral pneumonia" were scattered everywhere, and the health situation of epidemic prevention was worrying. There was a danger of "exploding pot" at any time. This is the first non-political closure of the city since the establishment of the Communist Party of China. It can be seen that the seriousness of the situation has far exceeded the CCP's estimation.
