台灣外交部長吳釗燮與外媒茶敘談及香港
指「香港已證明給台灣人看一國兩制不可信」
台灣外交部長吳釗燮周五（26日）與外媒茶敘，被本台記者問到，中國一直對台主張「一國兩制」，但看到香港現況，作為台灣外交部長，有甚麼啟示或會怎樣應對？
吳釗燮表示，香港的狀況大家都看到，現在已經沒有了一國兩制，原本香港所享受的自由已經被中國剝奪，「連立法會選出來的這些議員，只要他們是自由派的，全都被抓光了」。他強調，「香港現在的一國兩制已經被台灣人民看到，中國的承諾是一個空的承諾，中國的承諾是不可信的。」
他續指，台灣一直有做民意調查，可見超過8成台灣人民不信任或絕不接受一國兩制，「不必外交部來說，因為台灣人民就不相信中國政府對一國兩制的說法，香港已經證明了。」

Xi came to power 10 years ago touting his vision for the "Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation" and the decade saw China's military power and global economic clout multiply. But Xi also changed CCP rules to allow himself an unprecedented third term—effectively ruling for life—and China's reversion to strongman rule has brought back repression at home and hostile relations abroad that hark back to an earlier era.
