Rally for the 2nd Anniversary of the “Hong kong Universities Siege”
Marking the 2nd anniversary of the “Hong kong Universities Siege”, Liverpool Stands with Hong Kong will be Joint with Justitia Hong Kong to hold a rally in memorial of the incident and we would like to make use of art displays in this event to explain to the local community the the impact of this incident caused to Hongkongers, why hongkongers lost their trust in Hong Kong police force along side with reason behind why we continue fighting against the totalitarian government and the downfall of Hong Kong.
Liverpool Stands with Hong Kong 將於「大學保衛戰」事件2週年的日子聯同暖氣軍師撐香港一同協辦集會活動，並希望藉着是次集會活動向英國當地市民解釋香港人漸漸對香港警察更加不滿的原因，並且解釋香港抗爭運動的原因，堅持的信念和理由。

Two years ago today, the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) laid siege to Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Poly U) for 13 days.

The police trapped students inside and arrested anyone who tried to leave or enter including first-aiders, volunteers, and reporters.
HKPF claimed that protesters were hiding in disguise.
They shot:
1,458 tear gas canisters
1,391 rubber bullets
325 bean bag rounds
256 sponge grenades
in one day.
1,100 people were arrested through the 2 weeks.
Universities are for education and growth, not war.
The government failed us. The police never meant to protect us. The PolyU siege is a prominent example of HKPF's horrific abuse of power and the need for all of us to stand in solidarity with our peers.
This fight is for every Hongkonger and student. ✊💛

游繩而出重返佐敦救人 20歲少年的愧疚與他失去的未來

2019 年 11 月 18 日晚，已經一晚沒睡、18 歲的泰山（化名）獨自在理工大學 Z Core 天橋游繩而下，感覺鮮血沿繩索流下來，手掌一片灼熱，「好痛，但我知道我放開手會死」。落到地面，他忍痛跑出紅磡，匆匆包紮過後就 call 車出彌敦道，加入四方八面來「圍魏救趙」的群眾：「我唔想（Poly）入面啲人死，我想救佢哋出去。」
他最終並沒有成功。
理大之後，泰山的愧疚揮之不去，試過夢見被困示威者說「你唔好揼低我哋」，即從夢中驚醒：「我覺得係我嘅自私欠咗佢哋。」有半年時間，他猛抽煙、喝酒，全身傷痛也不去求醫：「覺得唔受苦就唔係生存緊。」
兩年過去，他的情緒狀態稍有好轉，傷口亦已癒合，但人生軌跡早已被改寫。失去夢想，他的未來變得無法掌握，甚至想過「快啲畀人拉，受完之後咪可以規劃到（人生）」。
重看理大一事，泰山直言對一整代人都是悲劇：「我覺得佢哋（警察）真係殺緊人。」被捕雖似是必然，也一度起過離港的念頭，但他始終沒有後悔，也選擇留在香港：「我為呢個地方出咗咁多力，我點解要走？」

2022年1月15日是梁凌杰離世兩年零七個月，金鐘太古廣場外，晚上有市民到場獻花。警員配備戰術背心在場戒備，期間有市民獻花後被警方截停搜查，亦有市民獻花後隨即被警員帶上警車，並帶返警署。
