由此可見，英國不只是曼城、倫敦等城市能舉辦香港人的集會，只要有心，兩三個人便可以在海外任何地方擺街站，傳講香港現況；掘除過去的恩怨和成見，便能舉辦更大型集會和凝聚力量，以尋求破局。國際戰線本應屬於你！你！你！每一個本應有權力決定香港未來的香港人。

//Safeguard Defender行動總監Laura Harth指，相關海外警署的地址並非最重要，重要的是該電話號碼可與中國警方聯絡，並隨時作出協調行動。位於格拉斯哥的龍鳳酒樓與它前幾個街口的一間餐館紅辣椒則使用同一個電話號碼，Safeguard Defenders曾嘗試以廣東話作查詢，對方接聽時承認電話是屬於中國警方的電話線，但他們再嘗試致電時，電話已被停止服務。而浪潮記者於網上搜尋龍鳳酒樓之電話號碼時，發覺已與人權組織提供的不再一致。//

日前有中國網民在內地網站「知乎」分享，指自己在愛丁堡留學期間，因為看到其他人在家中掛上烏克蘭國旗，故「有樣學樣」掛上「五星旗」以示支持中國，惟該國旗掛上沒多久，即被鄰居投訴，並直指「五星旗」在英國並不受歡迎。
該中國網民附上鄰居字條，鄰居明言「中國國旗在這裡並不受歡迎，我們歡迎你在這裡居住，但象徵極權主義國家的旗幟並不應該在這裡出現（Your P.R.C flag is not welcome here. You are welcome but the symbol of a totalitarian state isn't）」，該字條末段更特別以聲援姿態「註明」西藏、台灣及香港。
該網民表示自己「有權」掛上自己國家的旗幟，就如其他人掛上烏克蘭國旗一樣，所以選擇無視鄰居的投訴。然而，他不久之後又再收到另一張字條，指掛上「五星旗」，對維吾爾族的穆斯林、西藏的佛教徒及法輪功人士來說是一種「仇恨犯罪（Hate crime）」，強烈要求該名中國留學生撤下該令人討厭的旗幟。
該名留學生指自己最終不敵鄰居的苦苦「乞求」（註），同時表示有人為了拆下該「五星旗」而嘗試爬水管並使水管斷裂，為安撫大家，最終「無奈地」撤下國旗。

我等愛丁堡市中心的Prince Street Garden舉行了悼念天安門屠城死難者集會。「六四」不僅僅是北京的一場血腥鎮壓和屠城，也是與香港民主運動、人權息息相關的事件。從六四到七一，從 #反國教 運動、#雨傘運動、旺角魚旦，到2019年的香港 #反送中運動；香港人對民主、自由、人權的追求從未停歇，至今依然如此。
過去多年，香港人習慣在銅鑼灣維園、尖沙咀悼念六四。然而，自三年前開始，港府以各種藉口禁止悼念，港人只能轉移到社區悼念，並受到一系列打壓。即使在流散的港人未能在香港點燃燭光，悼念的火焰從未熄滅，我們的心永不止息，燭光依然閃耀。
無論身在何處，只要我們舉起手中的蠟燭，就能向民主英烈致敬！
