自2019年，過萬港人因社運被捕，未審先囚情況十分嚴重，很多牆內手足失去自由，無法與親友團聚。是次 #人鏈 行動希望可以凝聚 #溫哥華 港人，喚起世界持續關注香港狀況。
Since 2019, thousands of Hong Kong protestors have been arrested, jailed, and placed on indefinite pre-trial detention. Many lost their freedom and are forced to separate from their loved ones.
This human chain event aims to unite Hong Kongers and allies in #Vancouver to raise the awareness of the world towards the deteriorating political situation in Hong Kong.

參與人數約100人，短短1小時內接觸人數接近千人
以默哀開始，以團結結束。
沒有華麗既裝飾，沒有閃爍既燈牌，卻有著一直一班願意繼續企出嚟既人。
我地相信每街站，集會，社區討論，每個小步，都能為這場運動出到一份力。如果唔幫自己爭取，奇蹟係唔會發生。

10月1日，我們只會想到支那共產黨對其人民及全世界人民的暴行。 作為香港人，我們要用這一天來提醒自己，人權及香港一切美好的事如何遭到破壞。在中共侵略下，香港永遠不會有自由民主，我們必須全力以赴達成獨立。
On October 1st, we are reminded of the atrocities the Chinese Communist Party has brought upon its people and those around the world. As Hong Kongers, we use the day to remind ourselves of the decimation of human rights and destruction of everything that made Hong Kong prosper. There will never be freedom and democracy under the CCP, and that we must spend all our efforts to strive for Hong Kong independence.

2022年10月16日，和平香港示威者被中國駐英國曼徹斯特領事館人員於曼徹斯特強行襲擊、擄入領事館範圍內圍毆。為表示對中共低劣暴力行為的強烈譴責及表達對英國手足的支持，有手足計劃於10月22日(六) 早上10點半至11點半溫哥華中領館門外示威。大家一齊支持，各位請自備文宣！ 星期六早上見！

香港民主派喺2020年發起「立法會35+初選」，當中47人被控「#串謀顛覆國家政權」罪，喺2月6號正式開審。47名被告大部分人不獲保釋，「#未審先囚」超過兩年。案件不設陪審團，由3名國安法指定法官組成審判庭審理。案件必須得到大家嘅持續關注！
「溫哥華手足」將喺3月11號（六）舉辦街站，呼籲海外港人同本地人關注國安法下最大規模嘅審訊，強烈要求釋放所有政治犯！

自從通過國安法後，香港人權民主狀況極速倒退，大批市民被指控違反國安法、參與初選嘅泛民人士喺審判前已囚禁超過兩年。近期因為網上言論而被捕、被監禁嘅人更不斷增加，以言入罪情況愈趨嚴重。
而家喺香港遊行都要掛牌圍圈、申請遊行都會面對無可想像嘅威嚇，基本人權自由完全受剝削。
「溫哥華手足」將喺5月7號（日）舉辦街站，呼籲海外港人同本地人關注香港人權狀況，強烈要求釋放所有政治犯！持續支援細葉榕！
當日Anvil Center 內有「香港人市集」，我哋希望藉住咁多香港人聚集，鼓勵更多香港人嚟到海外都唔好忘記香港嘅手足，了解而家嘅自由係建基於無數在囚手足嘅犧牲，海外嘅我哋係絕對有責任持續關注香港情況！
