本港一批發起或參與去年民主派立法會初選的人士今早陸續被捕，被指涉嫌干犯《香港國安法》中顛覆國家政權罪。
在台北，陸委會對香港警方清晨拘捕民主人士表示震驚，並譴責任何壓迫民主人權的行徑，又指《香港國安法》動輒以顛覆國家政權罪打擊民主人士，突顯香港基本法對港人權利的保障形同具文。
陸委會認為，如果香港民主自由持續淪喪，並影響國際金融中心地位，對大陸無半點好處，呼籲相關方面應審慎收斂。
