過去數年，香港經歷無數大事，光榮結業這詞彙經常在耳邊出現，慣以為常的店舖因為各種原因一間一間，無聲無息地離開我們。

//有些是因為遭到業主加租、舊樓拆遷而無奈結業，也有些是因為年紀老邁，身體狀況影響下不得不退休。再者，不少舖頭經營數十載，老闆早已到達退休之齡，繼續堅守舖只是為了「過日晨」，如今面對永無止境的疫情，社會氣氛轉差，讓這些老店決定畫上句號。
如今租金高昂加上租約期短，現在幾乎已無可能再孕育出傳統的實體舖頭老字號，現在剩下的老字號，有的是自置舖，免省開舖最大的壓力，更有不少是苦苦堅持，即使收入不多但總算得以經營，與街坊過日晨才是最大心願，亦有些轉營網上商舖。//
