Pro-democracy District Councillor #ClarisseYeung looked very tired when she walked out of the court after undergoing 5 days of marathon hearing.

Yeung didn’t respond to many questions raised by the media. She said that she missed her family deeply and wanted to go home as soon as to see her two cats.

She thanked everyone for their care and wished them safe.

Yeung had been admitted to the hospital after falling in on the first day of the hearing. The hearing started on Mar 1, 2021, where 47 pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong were charged with "conspiracy to state subversion" for participating in the primary elections within the pro-democracy camp.

On Mar 5, 2021, Beijing announced plans to change Hong Kong's electoral system.

On Saturday, March 6, bailed activists #HendrickLui and #ClarisseYeung, though looking very exhausted, insisted on appearing in court to show support for the 11 pro-democracy activists whose bail application are reviewed upon the government's appeal.

Visually impaired lawyer Joy also showed up to give support.

In total, 47 activists were charged with "conspiracy to subverting state powers" under the #NationalSecurityLaw. The authorities' crackdown on the pro-democracy camp has triggered the population's outcry.
