Hong Kong Police's case charge found in disarray again
Numerous mistakes, as obvious as the defendantās professions, have been found in Hong Kong Policeās case charge presented to the court on March 1, 2021 against the 47 pro-democracy activists.
For instance, the profession of Sze Tak Loy, District Councilor of Wong Tai Shin district was marked āunemployedā; while former legislator Eddie Chu Hoi-dick was mistakenly marked as "Wong Tai Shin District Councilor".
Whatās more, Sai Kung District Councilor, Gary Fan Kwok-waiās occupation was marked āSocial Workerā while renowned social worker, Hendick Lui Chi Hang was marked "Sai Kung District Councilor" for his profession.
On March 1, 2021, 47 pro-democracy activists and politicians, who were charged with inciting subversion under the National Security Law was mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrate Court.

In Hong Kong, a Polytechnic University (#PolyU) student was charged with possession of firearms, strategic commodities and offensive weapons without a license for allegedly possessing a pepper bullet pistol and a saber in his apartment.
The case was being trialed at the Fanling Magistratesā Court on February 25, 2021.
The magistrate Kenneth Chan Ping-Chau pointed out errors in the English version of the charge sheet provided by the police. He read the content out loud on the spot, as it was written āone number of Pepper Ballā, ātwo numbers of Pepper Ballā.
The magistrate said, āeven primary school students will know that it is āone apple two applesā, when this case reaches the Court of Final Appeal, I donāt want this to become the laughing stock of foreign courts.ā

In Hong Kong, the police reportedly "forced" a take-away food deliverer to read out protest slogans from some cards found by the police inside the civilian's wallet.
The food deliverer surnamed Chiu, working for #FoodPanda, revealed to the media that the "trap" set by the police can potentially incriminate him under the #NationalSecurityLaw.
In a video Chiu provided to Apple Daily, four police officers surrounded him, while one of them was holding his wallet. The police took out two cards printed with the slogans āLiberate Hong Kong, Revolution of our timesā and āFive demands not one less.ā
The police officer then ordered Chiu to read out the slogans, to which Chiu refused fearing that it may violate the national security law for "promoting independence" according to the authorities.
Chiu told Apple Daily that the police officers' behavior was problematic and accused him of "knowingly violating the law" to incite him to read out the slogans, so that he would breach the national security law for subversion.

On August 31, 2020 pro-democracy supporters gathered in remembrance of the #PrinceEdwardAttack, where Hong Kong riot police assaulted peaceful civilians in Prince Edward subway station.
On that evening, police officer made multiple attempts to disperse the crowd. Rounds of pepper-spray were deployed and a woman who was 7-8 monthsā pregnant was allegedly neck-locked and dragged by a police office to the ground.
The woman was reportedly injured and sent to the hospital. Her husband, who was also present, was subdued and arrested by the police, accused of disorderly conduct at a public place.
Six months later, on February 25, 2021, Yu Tak-po, vice-chairman of Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok District Council wrote on his Facebook that the police has withdrawn the case and dropped charges.
