On November 5, over a thousand citizens appeared in Tsim Sha Tsui with Guy Fawkes Masks.
It is one month since the government had bypassed the city's legislature and announced the implementation of the Anti-Mask Law on October 5. The government's invocation of emergency powers to adopt draconian measures is seen as a violation of the rule of law and the infringement of freedom. During the first month of its implementation, police have used the law to intimidate citizens and even reporters, who, like the police, are exempted from the ban.

Protestors gathered around Cameron Road and blocked Nathan Road. After the march, protestors encountered the police water cannon when they tried to leave via Jordan. Most protestors then left via PolyU, a number of them were arrested.
