Hong Kong Hotel Employees Union: Police Stationing at Hotels and Frisking Guests
According to Hong Kong Hotel Employees Union, Hong Kong Police are receiving tip-offs from many hotels in Central. Police are thus stationing at hotel entrances and exits to stop and search entrants, affecting guests' privacy and safety.
Some guests forgot their room number and failed to show their identity cards, and multiple riot police, with pepper ball guns in hand, forced into the room for investigation.
