Si bien celebramos su decisión de otorgar clemencia a Leonard Peltier, injustamente encarcelado, lo que le permitió regresar con su familia después de pasar casi 50 años en prisión, en lugar de otorgarle también un indulto a Julian, el expresidente emitió indultos generales a su familia y a los políticos.

Aunque esta vez no logramos el indulto de Julian, estamos decididos a continuar nuestra campaña por la justicia.

Sus voces, acciones y donaciones durante nuestra campaña por un indulto demuestran la fuerza del poder popular y la dedicación del movimiento a la libertad de expresión.

En los últimos días de su presidencia, más de 40.000 personas en todo el mundo habían enviado nuestro correo electrónico solicitando el indulto para Julian. Thank you for your huge efforts urging former President Biden to pardon Julian Assange.

While we welcome his decision to grant clemency to the unjustly imprisoned Leonard Peltier, allowing him to return to his family after spending nearly 50 years in jail. Rather than also granting Julian a pardon, the former president issued blanket pardons to his family and politicians.

Although this time we did not secure Julian’s pardon, we’re determined to continue our campaign for justice.

In the final days of his presidency, more than 40,000 people worldwide had sent our email requesting a pardon for Julian. If you wish to participate in the #PardonAssange campaign, please feel free to suggest ideas and share them here. We need to organize a global action so it can become a strong one. We followed three lines for the moment:

1) Follow Gabriel Shipton in his Official Campaign by signing the letter to President Trump. You can sign it and share the link with your friends. Also you can publish it in all President Trump profiles you can as a comment to his posts/tweets!
