मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी आज इगतपुरी, नाशिक येथे ‘हिंदुहृदयसम्राट बाळासाहेब ठाकरे महाराष्ट्र समृद्धी महामार्ग’ या भव्य प्रकल्पाच्या अंतिम टप्प्याचे (इगतपुरी ते आमणे, ठाणे – 76 किमी) तसेच सायन-पनवेल महामार्गावरील ठाणे खाडी पूल क्र. 3 दक्षिण वाहिनीचे लोकार्पण करून महाराष्ट्राच्या विकासयात्रेतील आणखी एक सुवर्णक्षण साकारला.
या प्रसंगी माध्यमांशी संवाद साधताना मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी 2014 मधील आपल्या सरकारच्या स्वप्नाचा उल्लेख करत स्पष्टपणे सांगितले की, आज आम्ही फक्त एक महामार्ग सुरू करत नाही आहोत, तर एक संपूर्ण आर्थिक क्रांतीला गती देणारा महामार्ग महाराष्ट्राच्या सेवेत समर्पित करत आहोत. हा महामार्ग केवळ रस्ता नसून, तो राज्याच्या प्रगतीचा ‘इकॉनॉमिक कॉरिडोर’ आहे.
समृद्धी महामार्ग 24 जिल्ह्यांना थेट जेएनपीटी बंदराशी जोडतो. भविष्यात हा महामार्ग वाढवण बंदराशीही जोडला जाणार असून, यामुळे राज्याच्या लॉजिस्टिक नेटवर्कला जागतिक दर्जाचे बळ मिळणार आहे. समृद्धी महामार्गाचा वापर केवळ प्रवासासाठी न होता, तो राज्याच्या आर्थिक विकासाचा कणा ठरेल.
मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी या प्रकल्पासाठी लागलेल्या व्यापक यंत्रणेचेही विशेष कौतुक केले. ₹55,335 कोटींचा खर्च करून 701 किलोमीटर लांबीचा हा महामार्ग विक्रमी वेळेत पूर्ण करण्यात आला. या यशामागे एमएसआरडीसी, सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभाग, अभियंते, अधिकारी, कंत्राटदार, मशीन ओनर्स आणि दिवस-रात्र झटणारे हजारो मजूर यांचा मोलाचा वाटा असल्याचे त्यांनी नमूद केले.
समृद्धी महामार्गाचा 76 किलोमीटर मार्ग नाशिक आणि ठाणे जिल्ह्यातून जातो. यातील इगतपुरीजवळील बोगदा हा 8 किलोमीटर लांबीचा असून तो राज्यातील सर्वाधिक लांबीचा आणि देशातील सर्वाधिक रुंदीचा बोगदा आहे. समृद्धी महामार्गासह पालखी मार्गावर वन विभागाच्या माध्यमातून वृक्षारोपण करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. महामार्ग अपघात मुक्त करण्यासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करण्यात आला आहे.
समृद्धी महामार्गाच्या पहिल्या टप्प्याचे उदघाटन पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते, दुसऱ्या टप्प्याचे तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या हस्ते, तिसऱ्या टप्प्याचे मंत्री दादाजी भुसे यांच्या हस्ते झाले होते, तर अंतिम टप्प्याचे उदघाटन आज महायुती सरकारच्या सर्व प्रतिनिधींनी एकत्रितपणे केले.
यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी आणखी एक दूरदृष्टीपूर्ण घोषणा करत सांगितले की, आता आम्ही शक्तिपीठ महामार्गाचे काम सुरू करत आहोत. हा महामार्गही पूर्णतः ॲक्सेस कंट्रोल असणार असून, तो मराठवाड्याच्या आर्थिक पुनर्जन्माला सुरुवात करणारा महामार्ग ठरेल. हा महामार्ग संपूर्ण भागात 'आर्थिक क्रांती' घडवणारा ठरणार आहे.
मुंबई-नवी मुंबई प्रवासातील वाहतूक कोंडी दूर करण्यासाठी आज उदघाटन करण्यात आलेल्या सायन–पनवेल महामार्गावरील ठाणे खाडी पूल क्र. 3 दक्षिण वाहिनीचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करत मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस म्हणाले की, वाशी पुलावर निर्माण होणारी कोंडी आता मोठ्या प्रमाणावर कमी होईल. लाखो प्रवाशांचा अमूल्य वेळ आणि इंधन यामुळे वाचणार आहे.
तसेच, मुंबई–पुणे द्रुतगती मार्गावरील ‘मिसिंग लिंक’ प्रकल्प लवकरच पूर्ण होणार असल्याची माहितीही मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी दिली. हा प्रकल्प पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर मुंबई–पुणे प्रवास अधिक वेगवान, सुलभ आणि सुरक्षित होईल, असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला.
मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली महाराष्ट्राने आज केवळ एका महामार्गाचे उदघाटन केले नाही, तर भविष्यातील पायाभूत विकासाचा एक भक्कम स्तंभ उभारला आहे. हे सर्व प्रकल्प केवळ भौगोलिक अंतर कमी करणारे नसून, राज्याच्या विकासयात्रेला पुढे घेऊन जाणार आहेत.

Today, I was elated to inaugurate the last phase of 'Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg' (Igatpuri to Amne, Thane - 76 km) and Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 South Side on Sion-Panvel Mahamarg in Igatpuri, Nashik.
Back in 2014, we dreamt of a transformative highway that would redefine connectivity and prosperity in Maharashtra. Today, that dream stands realised!
This is more than just a road — it’s Maharashtra’s Economic Lifeline. Aptly named after Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray, this Samruddhi Mahamarg has now seamlessly connected 24 districts directly to JNPT. And soon, it will extend further to the upcoming Vadhavan Port — unlocking unprecedented economic potential for our state. Samruddhi Mahamarg will not just serve as a route for travel, but will become the backbone of Maharashtra’s economic development.
The extensive machinery involved in this project was also specially appreciated. Built at a cost of ₹55,335 crore, this 701-kilometre-long expressway was completed in record time. It was noted that the success of this project is largely due to the valuable contributions of MSRDC, the Public Works Department, engineers, officials, contractors, machine owners, and the thousands of labourers who worked tirelessly day and night.
A 76-kilometre stretch of the Samruddhi Mahamarg passes through Nashik and Thane districts. The tunnel near Igatpuri, which is 8 kilometres long, is the longest in the State and the widest in the country. A decision has been made to undertake plantation drives along the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Palkhi route through the Forest Department. Advanced technology has been employed to make the expressway accident-free.
The 1st phase of the Samruddhi Mahamarg was inaugurated by Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the 2nd phase was inaugurated by the then CM and now DCM Eknath Shinde ji, and the 3rd phase by Minister Dadaji Bhuse. Today, the final phase of this grand highway has been inaugurated collectively by all representatives of the MahaYuti Sarkar.
The Samruddhi Mahamarg has been completed in record time, and similarly, work on the access-controlled Shaktipeeth Mahamarg—set to transform Marathwada’s economy—will begin soon. To ease congestion on the Vashi Bridge over Thane Creek, the newly inaugurated Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 on the Sion-Panvel Highway marks a major step. The 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will also be completed shortly.
We have not only inaugurated an expressway, but we laid a strong foundation for future infrastructure development. These projects are not just about reducing geographical distances—they are about propelling the State’s journey of progress forward.
As I drove on this expressway today, I recalled all the challenges we faced, but the resolve remained unshaken. And this dream has been fulfilled! This is not just a road… It’s a path leading to prosperity, progress, and endless possibilities.
DCM Eknath Shinde ji, DCM Ajitdada Pawar, Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Minister Shivendra Raje Bhonsle, Minister Narhari Zirwal, MoS Meghna Bordikar, MLC Niranjan Davkhare, MLA Kisan Kathore and other dignitaries were present.

It was noted that the success of this project is largely due to the valuable contributions of MSRDC, the Public Works Department, engineers, officials, contractors, machine owners, and the thousands of labourers who worked tirelessly day and night.
A 76-kilometre stretch of the Samruddhi Mahamarg passes through Nashik and Thane districts. The tunnel near Igatpuri, which is 8 kilometres long, is the longest in the State and the widest in the country. A decision has been made to undertake plantation drives along the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Palkhi route through the Forest Department. Advanced technology has been employed to make the expressway accident-free.
The 1st phase of the Samruddhi Mahamarg was inaugurated by Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the 2nd phase was inaugurated by the then CM and now DCM Eknath Shinde ji, and the 3rd phase by Minister Dadaji Bhuse. Today, the final phase of this grand highway has been inaugurated collectively by all representatives of the MahaYuti Sarkar.
The Samruddhi Mahamarg has been completed in record time, and similarly, work on the access-controlled Shaktipeeth Mahamarg—set to transform Marathwada’s economy—will begin soon. To ease congestion on the Vashi Bridge over Thane Creek, the newly inaugurated Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 on the Sion-Panvel Highway marks a major step. The 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will also be completed shortly.
We have not only inaugurated an expressway, but we laid a strong foundation for future infrastructure development. These projects are not just about reducing geographical distances—they are about propelling the State’s journey of progress forward.
As I drove on this expressway today, I recalled all the challenges we faced, but the resolve remained unshaken. And this dream has been fulfilled! This is not just a road… It’s a path leading to prosperity, progress, and endless possibilities.
