Righteousness is the nature of God in you, producing in you the rightness of God: the ability to do right and fulfil the will of the Father. God is always right; itโs His nature to be right. This nature of righteousness is at work in us. So in our kingdom, we do righteousness; we walk in righteousness and do works of righteousness; we manifest the goodness of God to the world. It was for the same reason that the Pharisees and Sadducees had a problem with the good works that Jesus did; they misunderstood Him. If, at school, for example, you did something you thought was good and required commendation but instead found yourself being persecuted for your good works, donโt feel bad about it.
Just because youโre good and doing the right thing doesnโt mean everybody is going to be cheering you on. There might be those whoโll resist you and try to make you swerve from your path; they might even call you evil in spite of your good works. Maintain your composure. Refuse to change. Stay on course with the Word of God in your heart and in your mouth.

Righteousness is the nature of God in you, producing in you the rightness of God: the ability to do right and fulfil the will of the Father. God is always right; itโs His nature to be right. This nature of righteousness is at work in us. So in our kingdom, we do righteousness; we walk in righteousness and do works of righteousness; we manifest the goodness of God to the world. It was for the same reason that the Pharisees and Sadducees had a problem with the good works that Jesus did; they misunderstood Him. If, at school, for example, you did something you thought was good and required commendation but instead found yourself being persecuted for your good works, donโt feel bad about it.
Just because youโre good and doing the right thing doesnโt mean everybody is going to be cheering you on. There might be those whoโll resist you and try to make you swerve from your path; they might even call you evil in spite of your good works. Maintain your composure. Refuse to change. Stay on course with the Word of God in your heart and in your mouth.

Many arenโt experiencing this reality of the Word of God in their lives because theyโre not acting on the Word. Even if you were born again fifty years ago, if you donโt understand this truth, youโll be subject to the elements of this world; dominated by headaches, fever, diabetes and all manner of sickness and disease.
Donโt go through what spiritual slaves go through; come to a place in your life where you say, โEnough is enough; I refuse to be sick.โ Learn to exercise authority over your body. If you canโt exercise authority over your body, how are you going to exercise it over cities and nations? Your body is the first place to practise authority.
If you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body, say, โNo! A thousand times no! Iโve got the Spirit of God in me! Iโve got the life of God in me! Studying the book of Genesis, itโs clear that the whole of creation was put under bondage at the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). As a result, death, failure, decay, and every negative thing came into the world. People began to age, fall sick, and die. It became possible for things to decay and be corrupted. This was until Jesus came and saved the whole worldโnot just the world of men but the mountains, seas, animals, etc. The Bible says He bought the whole field (Matthew 13:44), and the field is the world.
Now, He has given us the responsibility of preaching the Gospel to every creature: โ...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creatureโ (Mark 16:15). Notice He didnโt say โto all human beingsโ but โto every creature.โ This means God has given you the responsibility to take charge of the earth by speaking words of blessing to it. Remember, God said to Abraham, โโฆAnd in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessedโ (Genesis 26:4). Youโre the seed of Abraham; therefore, youโre blessed, and you carry a blessing. Where you go, God goes, and what you bless is blessed!

Sometimes, when people receive the life of Christ and become born again, they mistakenly assume they arenโt supposed to face any troubles, adversities, or persecutions. But the Bible did tell us to count it all joy when we go through โdiverse testsโโtests and trials of different kinds (James 1:2). Tests, trials, and persecution are all part of the package, so we are never flustered by them because weโre more than conquerors. We are victors in Christ Jesus.
The devil will try to deceive and attack you. He prowls around, seeking someone to devour, but the Bible instructs you on how to respond: resist him with your faith! Ephesians 6:16 says to use the same faithโyour shield of faithโto neutralise and extinguish Satanโs fiery darts: โIn every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!โ (TPT).

Weโre not on the defensive but on the offensive against Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Weโre adequately fortified against their intense and continuous assaults, and we have dominion over them. Whether they are principalities, powers, or the rulers of the darkness of this world, they are subject to us in the Name of Jesus.
Keep living in the victory of Christ. Dominate your world, dominate your environment, and give Satan no chance. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:27 to give no place to the devil. Remember, Jesus gave us the power to cast out demons. Therefore, use that authority in His Name and subdue the evil and wicked one.
Thatโs what Jesus said to do: โThese signs will accompany those who have believed; in My name they will cast out demonsโฆโ (Mark 16:17 NASB). Itโs the first of the things He said we could do in His Name. Give God praise for this awesome authority!
