اکثر روش هایی که برای بهبود عمکرد مدل ها برای segmentation تصویر به وسیله شبکه های کانولوشنی ارایه شده اند، روی تغییر در معماری مدل، آموزش دادن با دیتاست های بزرگتر و ارایه توابع خطا جدید یا روش های بهینه سازی بهتر تمرکز داشته اند.
