8.🇷🇺POWs at Vochansk Aggregate Plant continued, 24 SEP.
Strangely among the 20 or so🇷🇺POWs taken at the plant, one is a Russian who grew up in Finland. He was deported in 2017 due to a conviction and was later put in the 'Sturm V' unit of the 128th Motor Rifle Bde. Captured by the Karelian Combat group 'NORD', part of the Russian Volunteer Corps. He tells of his wounds and the already widely reported lack of food among the defenders.
'Nord' declares itself as 'a voluntary military unit consisting of the indigenous peoples of Karelia and fraternal Finno-Ugric and Scandinavian ethnic groups'.

Several more UAVs may have flown into Ukraine from the territory of Belarus

@war_monitor_ua reports that the UAVs are being tentatively launched from Bryansk region (Russia). They note that the type of these UAVs is still being specified.

At the moment, it became known about several more drones that entered the area of the Kyiv reservoir from the direction of Belarus, “eRadarrua” Telegram channel reports. Also, “mon1tor_ua” channel reports that new UAVs are also flying into Chernihiv region from Belarus.

For reasons unknown, the crew of a Russian BTR-82A APC decided to drive straight into two Ukrainian tanks stationing on the edge of the forest.

After being spotted, the BTR is hit by one of the UA tanks from very close range.

The crew members quickly disembark from the smoking vehicle. One of them runs into the forest under the nose of one of the tanks. The others take cover behind the BTR, and, after being fired upon, they start running away through the field.

🇦🇺🇺🇦 | Australia will provide Ukraine with 49 US-made M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks tanks as part of a new military aid package.

The tanks were set to be retired in the near future as Australia is currently replacing them with the newer M1A2 version.

The moves comes months after Australia rejected a request to donate its grounded MRH-90 Taipan helicopters to Kyiv.
