The deputy commander of the Training Center of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of Russia (в/ч 43292), Colonel Nikita Klenkov, was shot dead in his car near Moscow.
According to available information, he returned from the combat zone in Ukraine around a week ago.
The assailant fired eight bullets, Baza reported.

At the same time, the US announced a new, $425 million-worth security aid package for Ukraine that includes additional munitions for NASAMS, ammunition for M142 HIMARS/M270 MLRS, 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, and more.
