RT @Textyorgua_Eng: Recent changes in Russia's shelling tactics put the next heating season at risk.
Their current campaign shifts from targeting power distribution to power generation enterprises and HPPs.
Our #dataviz maps critical infrastructure objects hit in recent attacks 🗺️👇
Based on the damage to energy infrastructure in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, recent strikes show better precision compared to last year's winter attacks.
While Ukraine protects its large transformer substations, securing entire power plants proves nearly impossible.
Reconstructing damaged facilities is both time-and cost-consuming, and it remains unclear if reparation can be completed before the next winter. The installation of air defense systems near each plant is crucial for meaningful reconstruction, as without them, the threat of missile strikes remains high.
